Healing the gender schism- the gift of Trans-spirituality

    in Spirituality

We'll begin this Autumn with a sincere look at how gender is commonly perceived, the many ways it informs how we interact with the world and perceiving it from a non-binary lens. There's a great healing that's been emerging for some time. For millenniums a divisive, destructive and misunderstood mindset regarding gender has been perpetuated. This healing includes a collective deep reflection on how this mindset was established and to open up to more essential Truths about the nature of gender.
Please join us - Wren Walker Robbins, Leeza Edwards, and Virginia Stephenson from the Trans-Spiritual Council, as we laugh, dialogue, pray, and share our intertwined journeys through the intersecting paths of gender, spiritual awakening and hope. We invite you to call into the show, email your questions and comments to blogtalk@transspiritcouncil.org or chat with us at our Facebook page

Hood Rules : Who Wears The Pants? ( The Push to Deconstruct Gender Roles)

    in Current Events

the revolution of the mind continues...

Amazon recently declared that children's toys will no longer be separated by gender. No more trucks for boys or dolls for girls... Everyone plays with everything.

Which led us into a debate...

Are gender role assignments crucial to mental health and stability... Especially in communities of color?

Are gender "roles" even fair? Shouldn't everyone assume whatever "role" they must to ensure life liberty and happiness? Or are these "roles" the very glue that binds our society?

    Interesting.
