Grammy Award Winner SANDI PATTY
As one of the most highly acclaimed performers of our time with five Grammy® awards, four Billboard Music Awards, three platinum records, five gold records, and eleven million units sold, Sandi Patty is simply known as The Voice. Sandi is the most awarded female vocalist in contemporary Christian music history, with 40 Dove Awards. She was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame in 2004 and as an Indiana Living Legend in 2007. She has released over 30 albums, including her latest Dove Award winning album, The Edge of the Divine (2010). Her debut full length symphonic pops album “Broadway Stories”, conducted by Maestro Jack Everly, was released on October 18, 2011. While her thirty-year career is heavily rooted in the gospel music industry, Sandi has had the opportunity in more recent years to extend her career outside the genre. Sandi has performed with symphonies across the country, including the New York Pops, Boston Pops, Cincinnati Pops, Dallas Symphony, Baltimore Symphony, Houston Symphony, and Oklahoma City Philharmonic. In addition to her prolific musical career, Sandi is also an accomplished author. For the bestseller Broken on the Back Row, Sandi received the 2006 Silver Angel Award. Her other titles include Life in the Blender, Falling Forward, Layers, and her latest book, The Edge of the Divine. She stops by on Monday, April 22, at 8:30pm EST.

Academy Award Winner Patty Duke
This is a light, conversational interview. We had a fun time chatting, I believe you will enjoy her fun and down to earth personality. No wonder so many people love her! I do too!! Fancy edit go : www.seattlewaveradio.com/player/swr_player_lifestyle.htm
Patty Duke is a true show business legend. Her career has spanned 6 decades, she continues to thrive long after many of her contemporaries have retired. Ms. Duke has conquered Broadway, film and television. In 1959 she made her Broadway debut in The Miracle Worker. Soon after The Miracle Worker closed on Broadway, Ms. Duke and Ms. Bancroft both reprized their roles in the motion picture version and each won Oscars. Patty Duke’s win as Best Supporting Actress made her, at the time, the youngest Academy Award winner in history. Ms. Duke also won a Golden Globe Award.
Coming off her Oscar win, she played genetically unexplainable identical cousins on The Patty Duke Show from 1963 to 1966. The show was a top-rated program and brought Duke her first Emmy nomination. Patty Duke also entered the history books as the youngest person (16) ever to have a show bearing her full name. In addition, she became a Billboard top-ten singer with the recording of her hit song, “Don’t Just Stand There.”
By 1967, Patty Duke wanted to shed her good girl image. She won the part of cross-addicted Neely O’Hara in the camp classic Valley of the Dolls. The film was a huge box office success and remains a cult favorite to this day. Patty is still a voice for many great orginazations today.www.officialpattTags: Talk Love Academy Awards Depression Hollywood
