Edge Inner Views with Cathryn Taylor and Dr. Todd on Pineal Tones

    in Spirituality

For over a decade, Dr. Todd has been developing what he calls the Pineal Tone series. Inspired by a deep inner knowing - a remembering - of an ancient time in an ancient land pineal toning is a system of sound syllables toned in various sequences which can also be sung together in pairs. These tone syllables or levels are like the letters of an alphabet, albeit complex and multidimensional. Two tone levels sung together create a quantum word. When these words are arranged in a sequence they create a quantum message. Each Choir creates a quantum message built from the basic tone levels that are sung as pairs.

On Octogber 11th and 12th, Dr. Todd will be visiting the Twin Cities to present his dynamic workshop entitled, Celebrate the Art and Magic of the Life Code with Pineal Tones Technique. This workshop, being held at the Holiday Inn in Bloomington, is a celebration of the art and magic of the life code. More than just sequence information, the higher geometry gives rise to functions that support communication and recalibration.

Road Map 4 Seeker's with Guest Joesph B. Carringer Didgeridoo Sound Therapist

    in Spirituality

Didgeridoo sound therapy is a holistic health and healing modality used for adjunct, supportive and primary treatment of a wide range of health and wellness issues.
    - Joseph B. Carringer Didgeridoo Sound Therapist

Didgeridoo sound therapy also known as "didgeridoo harmonic therapy" is the application of sound generated by the didgeridoo over a client with the intention of producing healing results. The term harmonic references the broad range of harmonic frequencies that the didgeridoo is capable of producing. This practice is also commonly referred to as "didgerdioo sound healing", but in typical sound healing practices there is less attention paid to the keys and frequencies of the instruments and the focus leans heavily on the intention of the practice.

The didgeridoo helps people to achieve healing results through principles ultrasound therapy, energetic entrainment and meditation through the production of tones that range from the ultra low inaudible of 0hertz to the 1000hertz (2-20hertz is the same frequency of human brain waves - see table below). These harmonic waveforms resonate in a similar frequency to that of the Sanskirt Om.

    in Politics

What is nation building? What importance does it have on the PAN AFRICANIST? Really do you all understand that to be a nationalist and not be pro-active as to the only nations we come from on the Continent of Africa is counterproductive?  You may have not been born in Africa but your Skin complexion of many shades of EARTH tones declaring your African Nationality without you opening your mouths. This plus the fact that you want Justice for your captivity and slaughter of your ancestors makes you a Pan Africanist.

"The political philosophy of black nationalism means that the black man should control the politics and the politicians in his own community; no more. The black man in the black community has to be re-educated into the science of politics so he will know what politics is supposed to bring him in return. Don't be throwing out any ballots. A ballot is like a bullet. You don't throw your ballots until you see a target, and if that target is not within your reach, keep your ballot in your pocket.

The political philosophy of black nationalism is being taught in the Christian church. It's being taught in the NAACP. It's being taught in CORE meetings. It's being taught in SNCC Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee meetings. It's being taught in Muslim meetings. It's being taught where nothing but atheists and agnostics come together. It's being taught everywhere. Black people are fed up with the dillydallying, footing, compromising approach that we've been using toward getting our freedom. We want freedom now, but we're not going to get it saying "We Shall Overcome." We've got to fight until we overcome." MALCOLM EL HAJI MALIK SHABAZ

    A Conversation with Gene Chandler

    in Lifestyle

From 1962 to 1970 Gene Chandler put nineteen songs in the top forty, but he will always be known all over the world as the Duke of Earl, his first hit that topped the pop and R&B charts in 1962 and launched his career.   In 1957 Gene became a member of the Du-Kays, a rhythm and blues group with a strong rock and roll sound. After a stint in the Army and singing solo in the Army he returned to Chicago in 1960 and rejoined the Du-Kays. Their first professional recording session was late in 1960, at which time they recorded "The Girl is Evil ".

They recorded " Nite Owl " and " Duke of Earl " in 1961. "Nite Owl" was recorded first and out for distribution when they recorded the Duke, but the creation of the Duke of Earl was a bit more unusual.     The Du-Kays would warm up by singing do-do-do-do- in various tones and pitches. Gene started singing duke--duke--duke and from there added fellow member "Earl" Edward’s first name to complete the phrase. He then began composing the lyrics on the spot.

Calvin Carter, A&R man with VeeJay Records absolutely loved the tune and especially liked Gene’s singing style. Carter was more interested in Gene alone than in the whole group sound and felt Gene could top the charts easier as a solo artist.  In January of 1962 Eugene Dixon became Gene Chandler, taking his last name from actor Jeff Chandler because he thought it had a romantic ring. Under Gene Chandler he released solo records while still under contract with the Du-Kays as Gene Dixon. The " Duke of Earl " was finally released and it sold a million copies in little over one month.   A great conversation about the life of a tremendous hit making artist.
