Millions of people today all over the world are having glimpses of who they really are: beyond endless thought and reactive feeling. Such a moment of “awakening” changes everything, and unleashes a wellspring of energy, humor and love. People have called such moments “Better than Sex.”
Now comes a lively new book that not only helps access such moments of awakening in your own life, but also shows you how easy it can be to coach others to live this awakening in day-to-day life! Your guide is none other than international bestselling author Arjuna Ardagh (The Translucent Revolution, 2005, #1 national bestseller).
Tommy Edison has been blind since birth and now producing videos online that reveal a glimpse into his life and the funny challenges that he faces daily. Tommy has showed us what it’s like for someone who is blind to use an ATM for the time and how some people who are visually impaired may organize their money. Plus,Tommy is living his dream of reviewing movies as the Blind Film Critic. With his unique and interesting perspective, Tommy says “I watch movies and pay attention to them in a different way than sighted people do. I’m not distracted by all the beautiful shots and attractive people. I watch a movie for the writing and acting.” In addition to being the Blind Film Critic, Tommy has been a radio professional for nearly 25 years, having spent the last 19 at STAR 99.9 FM in Connecticut as a traffic reporter.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store® and fan-favorite country music artist Neal McCoy announce the upcoming CD release of Pride: A Tribute to Charley Pride: Deluxe Edition, which will be available on Nov. 3rd exclusively at all 633 Cracker Barrel Old Country Store® locations and online at crackerbarrel.com.
Pride: A Tribute to Charley Pride: Deluxe Edition contains two exclusive bonus tracks not found on the original edition that was released in 2013 by Slate Creek Records. The album contains Neal’s versions of 13 songs made famous by the legendary Pride. Highlights include Neal performing duets with three of country music’s greatest voices. He sings “Roll On Mississippi” with Trace Adkins, “I’m Just Me” with Raul Malo, and Pride’s signature song (which earned songwriter Ben Peters a GRAMMY Award in 1972 for Best Country song), “Kiss an Angel Good Mornin’” with Darius Rucker.
“I wanted to open people’s eyes about Charley and remind them of all that he has accomplished,” says Neal. “I thought the best way to do that was to just put his music out there and let people hear what great country music sounds like."
In 1981, Charley Pride was introduced to Neal after the younger singer won a nightclub talent contest in Dallas and soon hired the newcomer to be his opening act at his concerts. Neal continued to work for Pride until 1986 when he left to pursue a recording contract. Neal's hits include “No Doubt About It” , “Wink" and "The Shake." He is currently touring with Blake Shelton on the “Ten Times Crazier" Tour."
