Empty Womb, Empty Tomb -- Write Stuff -- 6/30/2015

    in Entertainment

Psalms 37:4 Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

When a woman longs for a child it is a deep desire in her heart. The thought of a little baby boy or girl thrills her in a way that nothing can. Dreams and visions of the baby float through her mind. Sometimes when she holds another baby in her arms, she may inhale that clean, innocent scent of the baby and kiss the little one's forehead or cheek in anticipation for the day she holds her own.

But what if that day seems to never come. You've tried and tried with your spouse and that miracle of life still has not appeared. Or, you've become pregnant and joy fills your heart. Tragedy strikes and you find out the little one growing in you is gone. The heartbreak consumes you to point you think you'd never get over it. And it's not the first time it's happened.

What do you do when you're carrying the pain and heartache of an empty womb?

Join me for the discussion with Quiana Johnson, author of Empty Womb, Empty Tomb as we discuss her memoir detailing her struggles with this same situation experienced by women all over the world. Fourteenth Station - Jesus is laid in the tomb

    in Religion

Rebroadcast of the long running radio program, "The Ave Maria Hour", a presentation of the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement. www.AtonementFriars.org

After Jesus died, his body was placed in a tomb. This was better treatment than many crucified people would have received. Their bodies were often discarded by Roman soldiers and left exposed, unless they had families or friends nearby to care for them. The body of Jesus was fortunate enough to receive unusual attention from a man named Joseph, who was both a member of the Sanhedrin and a follower of Jesus. He made sure the body of his Master was appropriately buried, so that, later, the bones of Jesus could be finally interred in an ossuary (a special box for bones). Little did Joseph know that God had other plans for the body of Jesus.

Empty Tomb; Living Savior - "He Lives in Me"

    in Religion

Many of us have experienced a time when something we've struggled to understand finally makes sense. Whether it was a subject in school or a task at work, we may have pondered the concept for quite awhile, but to no avail. Then something happened that allowed us to grasp what should have been obvious all along. Jesus' disciples encountered this type of situation. Jesus had told them that He would rise from the dead, but they did not grasp the significance of His words. The He rose from the tomb and they suddenly realized the glory of His promise. Today we still struggle to grasp the significance of Christ's resurrection. We can scarcely begin to grasp it's glory. Yet one fact remains: Christ's resurrection is the foundation of our faith and the substance of our hope for eternal life.

Life After Christianity 101: The Empty Tomb-Resurrection: Truth or Myth

    in Religion

We are embarking up on another holiday called “Easter”. Many gather every year to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, but is this based on an actual event or an Urban Legend? Join Empress T to discuss this age-old topic: “The Empty Tomb- Resurrection: Truth or Myth.”

    This is a live call-in show @ 646.716.7572

ABOUT THE HOST: Life After Christianity 101 was created by radio host Empress T'Malkia Zuri in 2012 on her own blogtalk network "Dynasty Network 1382." She began her radio career on a Christian radio station in Phoenix, AZ KXXT 1010. After refusing to "dumb down" her topics, a mutual agreement was met and Empress T was released from the contract after refusing to conform to their request. Empress T is a recovering Christian who is 36 months clean after 44 years of indoctrination, and celebrates her sobriety date on Dec. 27th. She has devoted much of her time to sharing what she has learned about the mental effects of Christianity in the Black Family. She is a former National licensed Minister under one of the largest churches in the U.S, a former Armour Bearer to 2 pastors and a bishop, and a former Sunday School and bible teacher. Empress T is also entering her second year (in June) as a student at the University of Metaphysics in Arizona and is obtaining a degree in Transpersonal Psychology.  Our Web: www.lifeafter
