Toll taxes today are the equivalant to yesteryear's "Modern Highway Man"
The privatization and excessive taxation of our national infrastructure is very symbolic of what is happening to our country......Simply put - we are being taxed into poverty, sold-out to foreign corporations and our every move is being spied upon.
Enough Already! Stop destroying OUR Country!
Do the math....True Cost of Toll Abuse - Toll Taxes Equate to about $2.00 Per Gallon Gas Tax!
Fact the truth.....Privitization is a scam for foreign corpations agaist the American people! Our elected public servants have sold us out to a foreign corporation by the name of Cintra. Cintra filed bankruptucy for the Indiana Toll Road.
The various anti-toll taxation groups across the country need to come together and become a real force for change. Americans adamantly oppose toll taxes, but the "Gang of Thugs" in public office ignore the will of the American people.
I say Enough Already! Stop destroying OUR Country!
What Say You Americans?
Attention American Transportation Leaders - It is Time to Stop Toll Roads and Restore our Freeways!
Guests: Terri Hall - Texans for Toll-free Highways
Patrick Hand - Stop the Tolls
Americans know there are better ways to fund highways than TOLL TAXES. We know everyone's cost of living goes up with the cost of transportation. We know everyone benefits from transportation regardless of how many miles they drive on the highways. We know it is wrong for our local, state and federal representatives and quasi-governmental agencies to sell-off public infrastructure to foreign corporations. We know "Public Private Partnerships" are nothing more than a major source for governmental corruption. We know these individuals/representatives, quasi-governmental agencies and P3s are NOT working in the best interest of the American people. We know it is up to us to demand changes in transportation.
The time is now for Americans to come together to shut-down toll roads across the U.S.A. We can shut-down the toll roads if we work together.
Here are some of the grassroot groups working to stop toll roads:

US taxpayers know April 15th is their deadline to pay individual state and federal taxes. This one annual date often generates negative feelings. How do negative feelings tax us - daily - on a physical, emotional and spiritual level?
Based on what you learned in our first class, what changes (if any) happened in how you live life?
Are you more comfortable with the differences between ethics and morals?
Do you feel more at ease with the reality that you're a network marketer every time you tell someone about a product, service, event, location or person?
In this episode we explore daily taxes on three unique levels:
physical: our health
emotional: our senses (feelings)
spiritual: a sense of happiness
To get the most out of this show, click to learn more about our Friday live classes. In class, we explore more the information in this class as well as add other ethical networkers to your address book!
Last but NOT least! Call us to record comments, questions or show topic ideas - any time - at 312-268-0000.
To thank you for sharing your insights and wisdom, we'll include your name and live URL in these show notes!
FACT.....I-4 Transformation is NOT about relieving gridlock and improving transportation. It is all about political money for the special interest cronies, higher taxes and higher cost of living for working Americans

Alternative Funding for Transportation
Alternative sources of funding – if needed. The following sources of highway revenues would have no new collection costs associated with them and do not limit access to the most efficient highways.
Increase gas tax. Compare the increased revenues of a 2¢ per gallon vs. 2¢ toll tax.
Annual Motor Vehicle Registration Fee/Tax. A once a year flat “highway tax” of $5.00 for every registered vehicle. Calculate the net increase in highway revenues for a onetime annual fee/tax.
Tourist tax allocation. Tourism has a major impact on traffic and vice-versa. Allocate a portion (5%) of the tourism tax revenues to the highway fund. This also promotes tourism by making travel easier and less expensive for the tourist.
Rental car tax allocation. Rental cars have a major impact on traffic. Allocate a portion (5%) of the taxes assessed to rental cars to the highway fund.
A Portion of state/local sales tax should be allocated to transportation. The state/local economy drives sales tax revenues. Transportation of people and goods & services has a significant impact on local sales activity. Thus, an impact on sales tax revenues.
