Singer/Rapper Vance Smith
NY native Vance Smith; a lyrical poet whose melodic delivery is the ultimate embodiment of hip hop, rhythm & blues, and poetic metamorphosis. Vance is the ultimate entertainer, in the respect that he utilizes every one of his musical gifts and together they eloquently provide a musical product that intrigues and leaves a burning desire for more. In 2004 Vance would be torn between leaving his native roots and charting unexplored territory, with no sound idea of what was to be expected. Originally from Bay Shore, NY; Vance knew that it was time to step out on faith and propel his career to the level that he was destined for, and thus he relocated to Atlanta, GA. In 2008 Vance released a spoken-word LP entitled “My Perspective” and began performing at various colleges, universities and open mic events in the Atlanta and surrounding areas. This gained Vance recognition and notoriety via his peers, fans, and the student body at his college campus Since then, Vance has released a 12 song Mixtape project entitled “23 reasons, which showcases both his rapping and singing abilities. He has proven to the world and to the elite entertainment scene of Atlanta that he is indeed UP NEXT and now Vance has something to prove to himself. Gearing up to release his first EP, which is slated to be pure R&B later this year, Vance has a drive and ambition that’s absolutely unparalleled. With such a large following, Vance knows that he has no choice but to make it to the TOP.
