She helps many individuals to learn to love themselves and improve their lives. Tina Nies is a Certified Life Coach and Vision Board Coach. Tina began her coaching as a natural extension of working for nearly 20 years as a Marketing and Event Consultant, Speaker, College Instructor, and Community Trainer. Tina earned her B.B.A at University of Michigan and her M.B.A. at Windsor University. Her passion is now focused on building and strengthening self-love as a foundation for success. Tina empowers entrepreneurs and individuals to develop their vision and create action strategies for success as they grow and explore their happiness in business and life. Tina is a lifelong active volunteer and philanthropist and especially enjoys sharing ideas about Love, Hope, and the Power of Choice with youth and communities most in need of that message.

Listen and Share the second installment in my podcast series dedicated to those who would like to pursue a career in the arts. Experts offer their advice regarding preparation and decision making for students considering this path.
In this episode, we talk with Deborah Engerman, Director of the Classical Ballet Program at Dancemoves Dance Studio. She has recently toured Europe as Ballet Mistress with Rasta Thomas' Bad Boys of Dance and has now returned home to the USA, teaching in MD and PA. She trained with the Baltimore Ballet in the RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) tradition, passing her graded exams. While pursuing her degree in International Policy at Dickinson College, she continued her study of classical ballet at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. Her dance training also includes Vaganova Technique, French Methodology, and the Dance Education Program at Towson University.
Dancers trained by Mrs. Engerman have danced with Universal Ballet, The Washington Ballet, Ballet West, The Vienna Opera Ballet, the Boston Ballet, Complexions Dance Company, The Mark Morris Dance Group, and on Broadway. She has also been a coach to dancers winning at numerous international ballet competitions, such as The Prix de Lausanne, the Varna IBC, and The Youth America Grand Prix. One of her students, Adrienne Canterna, took the Junior Gold Medal at the 1998 Jackson USA International Ballet Competition.

As a dancer since the age of three who competed during High School, studied modern and ballet through college, and became a teacher and coach; I have had a fantastic career in the arts. Every year I am approached by students asking how they can pursue dance after high school. What are the career opportunities? How do you prepare? Do you go to college? How difficult is it? Through a series of podcasts with industry professionals we will answer these questions and more.
In this episode, we talk with Bob Marks, professional vocal coach.
