The largest songwriter's festival in the country, Tin Pan South was this week! Ten venues, 20 shows and over 250 artists were featured in this year's event! Matt was also at a bachelor party, which leads to a conversation about strip clubs and the guys discuss their one year anniversary party next week!
And this week's #NUartist is Them Vibes! The band, consisting of Larry Florman and Alex Haddad, began writing and recording their independent debut record, Shine On, in their backyard of Nashville, TN. They sought to make an album that was unchained from the grid-perfect, quick fix plug-in standards of today’s recording. Demanding vintage tones, feel, and performance, Them Vibes went to work creating a record that felt both new and familiar. Six months later they left with an eleven song LP that achieved just that.
