We're Exploring Kitchen and Bath Trends on the "Let's Talk Home" Show Tonight!
Our special Guest will be Jacob Herskovits from TileBar. We'll talk about cabinets, and vanities and faucets, but our main focus will be on creative ways to use tile in these spaces. I am in the middle of a home remodel and am very excited to try the tile that mimics the look of hardwood flooring. My client in Atlanta had it installed in his basement build out and I love it! We'll take a fresh look at glass tiles and try and figure out the best patterns for a sophisticated and modern home.

Someon bought a bird feeder and realized that it taught them what was wrong with government. The author stated: I hung it on my back porch and filled it with seed. What a beauty of a bird feeder it was, as I filled it lovingly with seed. Within a week we had hundreds of birds taking advantage of the continuous flow of free and easily accessible food.
But then the birds started building nests in the boards of the patio, above the table, and next to the barbecue. Then came the poop. It was everywhere: on the patio tile, the chairs, the table. everywhere!

On this episode of The House P. I., the show that's all about houses with HGTV's original house detective. This week we're talking about asbestos in older homes. Asbestos was required to be out of building products in 1978 but what happened to all those houses where asbestos had been installed? Asbestos was used in many products found around the home, from vinyl floorings and adhesives to drywall, pop corn ceiling finishes, drop tile ceilings, siding, roofing, heating and air conditioning ducts and equipment and all types of insulation. There isn't a requirement to remove the asbestos in older homes so if you presently own a home or are purchasing a home that may contain asbestos products what do you need to know to live safely in your home. Join me and my guest Dr Douglas Mose, Dr Mose in environmental scientist as well as a geologist and has worked with asbestos inspection for many years. Dr. Mose offers his tips and insights on living with asbestos, safely.
