Yo-MAMA – II /Attack on the “Tiger-Mom”
Yo-MAMA – II /Attack on the “Tiger-Mom”
Last year, dedicated the show to none other than Mother, undoubtedly, on the periphery of what is celebrated as Mother’s Day. We got a chance to talk not only about motherhood in general, but our own mothers and what they meant to us.
We know from scripture, the Qur’an and Bible, how vital and precious, mothers are. Not to belittle the father and his role, we are told in the Qur’an for example, to reverence the wombs that bore you. We read in the Bible, to honor the mother and father, so that your days may be long, on the earth.
For many, our mothers were that support during challenge, a balm during pain, and at times – one who would mete out pain.
But they loved us and wanted the very best for us. Frankly, as our years upon this earth increase, we realize how we can never really repay her.
We pray for her, that Allah showers His Mercy upon her.
One mother, who is in the crosshairs today, is the so-called “Tiger-Mom”. She is that Chinese mother, who until recently, was given a place of honor and respect, as that guardian of her family’s intellectual legacy. Now, she is accused of being overbearing, and causing serious social dysfunction amongst her children.
Of course, we cannot look at this as some sort of “concern” for the welfare of Chinese children, but a calculated, measured and manipulative attempt to dampen and bring to an inevitable halt, the notion of Chinese Power, which we see being manifest in the critical parts of the world.
Join us on May 11, for what will prove to be an eye-opening segment of Critical Discourse – 6:30 AM.
BE THERE!

Scott Cluthe has Emile Allen, M.D., and author of Eaten By The Tiger Live Tuesday night at 8 EST on Positivley Incorrect! Radio.
In less than a blink of an eye, Dr. Emile Allen went from saving lives to barely keeping his own. An accomplished surgeon specializing in urologic oncology, he built three successful private practices with a cherished roster of patients. Emile had success by the tail.
www.eatenbythetiger.com
Little did he know that a tragic accident in the operating room would switch his role from beloved doctor to incapacitated patient. His brush with death was the result of a bolt of electricity shooting up through his left hand to his brain, causing him to lose consciousness. While the room was dark, he heard a voice say, “I’m not ready for you yet. You have more work to do,” a phrase that will be forever seared onto his memory.
Conquering the fear of the unknown and being “Eaten by the Tiger™,” is the pivotal moment that has transformed Emile’s life.
Dr. Emile Allen has become a driving force in reframing one’s mindset on tragedies, the value behind them, and the beneficial impact we never knew existed.
