The Potency of Being Heart-Centered with Tracy Vroom

    in Pets

Tracy Vroom grew up on a farm surrounded by horses & animals. She would've lived on her horse if her parents had let her. Wanting to improve her relationship with animals, she discovered the Tellington Method for companion animals. So impressed with the results, she became a certified practitioner. Tracy has worked with animals in shelters, rescue groups, therapy dogs, dogs & cats with behavioral issues & post-surgical clients. Other species include...rabbits, ferrets, birds & lizards. She gained certification in Craniosacral work for small animals through the Upledger Institute. She has worked in conjunction with trainers, veterinarians, massage therapists, chiropractics and acupuncturists. To expand her practice to include working with horses…a flash-back to her childhood horse loving days... she became certified in Reiki, Level 2 & shortly after that she was introduced to Equine Craniosacral work. She studied with Maureen Rogers at Equine Craniosacral Workshops to become a certified level 4 practitioner. At this time there are 8 Level 4 practitioners in the United States. She has studied TTEAM training with Linda Tellington-Jones & is working to achieve her certification in this method. Her horse clients include race horses;Thoroughbreds and harness racers, performance horses in a variety of disciplines & pleasure horses. Tracy continues to expand her knowledge base by studying Visionary skills & taking complementary classes that will enhance her practice. She loves sharing the work with people so they can help their animals to have emotionally & physically balanced lives.

    in Military

In todays' episode, we will be interviewing Bob Nevins, founder of Saratoga Warhorse.

Saratoga WarHorse provides a 3-day confidential, peer-to-peer, equine-based program to veterans struggling with the effects of PTSD, sleeplessness or suicidal thoughts.  The cost of the program is entirely covered for qualified veterans.  Classes are held in our Saratoga, New York facility where veterans are paired with off-the-track thoroughbreds through a non-traditional program culminating in a life altering experience. The focus is on communicating in the horse’s own language, which creates a trusting relationship with the horse and an emotionally empowering experience for the veteran.
