Segment 1. STATE OF OUR UNION~ Topic: "Kill A Person Save A Gun"
This week On Point Discusses the overwhelming amount of PUSH BACK the NRA exudes to keep COMMON SENSE regulations away from guns or any resemblence of GUN CONTROL.
Segment 2. BEHIND CLOSED DOORS~ "Chocolate or Vanilla...Or Do they Both Taste as Sweet"..?
This week we look at inter-racial relationships and if there is actually difference's between the way love is given or received. We test the platform that LOVE is color blind, because when the lights go out...so is EVERYBODY ELSE!
1st Segment~COMMUNITY VIBE... TOPIC: 1070, Only Thing Missing is ,"Yes'a Mass'a"
We take a look at the strongly over-looked undertones of the contraversial Newly inducted Law, and the ramifications of it's presence in PRESENT DAY America, and how it resembles the actions of a "NOT TOO SHINY TIME" in Americas history.
2nd Segment~Behind Closed Doors...TOPIC: Now that ya caught me, KEEP CHASING ME!
We examine why "The Chase" is the most important part of courtship, and why it's equally as important to continue "The Chase" long after the persuit of the hearts affections has been captured and taken for your own.
With the season fast approaching and all but one team in the Western Conference accounted for, we turn our attention to that other conference on this week's episode of the Jewelcast. We'll talk about the collection of alleged hockey teams called the Eastern Conference, asking questions such as: what are these teams? Who are these players? Why should anyone care? Noted East-hater Langluy (@langluy) of Jewels makes her much-anticapated second co-hosting appearence on the show, maybe to talk about this or maybe to talk about her cat, we're not entirely sure. In the interest of fairness, we will allow popular Twitter hockey personality and ex-In Lou We Trust blogger Kevin Sellathamby (@HellblazerVice) try to defend his pathetic excuse for an NHL conference. Three against one is fair, right?
Mauricia Torres has been working as a figurative artist for the past thirteen years. Her works often deal with social issues as well as using mixed media, written text and found objects. She is currently finishing her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree and will be exhibiting a series of portraits at the Martha Gault Gallery in the Maltby center of Slippery Rock University. The portraits will feature members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, trangender community and allies to prove that gender and sexual orientation cannot be judged simply by the exterior. The exhibition will run from December 8-15th with a reception from 5-7 on the 8th www.mauriciatorres.com http://fineartamerica.com/profiles/mauricia-torres.html
Amid the twinkling of the Christmas lights and the shimmering glow emanating from the garland strung over the light posts across America, the captured corporate media is busily reassuring people that our economy is getting stronger, our country is moving forward in all important areas, and overall, the United States is better off today than at any other time in the recent past.
Lies - all. The lies are strong enough, large enough, and repeated often enough to convince the majority of a mind-numbed public that what they are seeing strung across the lampposts and Christmas trees in city squares is traditional holiday garland. Aided by normalcy bias, greed, and other psychological controls implemented at the hands of the global elite, most walk past the fully adorned Christmas trees at Rockefeller Center in New York and numerous city parks in the U.S., seeing garland hanging from the trees, exactly like they’ve been told.
Having choosen to ignore the cries of the watchmen or having become fully entranced in the lie, what they’ve been convinced is the holiday decoration is neither decorative nor whimsical, but dull and taut. For what adorns the trees is not garland at all, but the thick and deadly rope hanging like swags, ignored by the masses while taunting the informed. Few see that at the end of each strand of rope is a hangman’s noose, ritualistically coiled thirteen times and awaiting the victims of the illusion.
Join Steve Quayle and Greg Evensen as they unravel the coil of the hangman's noose.
Tune in and join me as I welcome this week's guest.
Author Mary Barr joins me this week to talk about her books. We'll discuss her novellas, novels & juvenile fiction titles.
From her novella The Publisher:
Each day with trust and good faith we send our beloved children off to school. We assume they arrive safely, enjoy time with their friends and learn their lessons. We think we know where they are and who they’re with. But life can change in a heartbeat, so can circumstances, places and people and, as a result we never remain the same. Change is often good, sometimes bad, but always constant. The Publisher takes you into the lives of the Smelt family. Joe, Suzanne and their two children, six year old Libby and thirteen year old Connor.
It is a normal school day just like any other, until Joe – the publisher – begins reading a manuscripts. In the manuscript he learns that his children are not at school. They have been kidnapped and are being held hostage until the ransom is paid. Each detail of what he must do is precisely laid out as another page of the manuscript unfolds. Suzanne has done someone wrong and, if she can right the situation her children will go free, if not, they will die. And so, they sit and wait for the knock on the door and the next installment of the manuscript that holds within its pages their children’s fate.
