    Honouring War resistors

    in Politics

Memorial Day and Veteran's Day often get equated, but there is an essential distinction between the two. Veteran's Day honors all who have served the American military in wars. Memorial Day honors those who've perished. It's an annual reminder that wars have grave human costs, which must be both recognized and minimized.

Those costs are not inevitable. We ought to also set aside time to remember those throughout American history who have tried hardest to reduce them, to prevent unnecessary loss of life both American and foreign: war resisters.  Dylan Matthew VOX

Today, I will again lift a pint of ale in memory of my three friends and their comrades who died in Vietnam.

I honor them without honoring the aggressive and unjust war in which they fought.I don't know what their motivation was to join the military, maybe it was simply that the draft gave them no choice, but it really doesn't matter. What I do know for sure is that their lives were unnecessarily cut short. Sam Webb

War of the Words Relentless Radio #108: Fight Week w/ Robbie Collum ahead of C28

    in MMA

TODAY ON THE SHOW: 145 Contender Robbie Collum, who fights THIS Saturday in Hardeeville @Conflict28!

Robbie Collum is a bad dude, and one of my favorites on the scene right now. Let’s be honest, the kid is a freaking beast. For a guy who is so brand new to the sport and many aspects of martial arts, this guy has had an incredible kick-off in MMA. Despite wrestling being really his only “combat” sport activity prior to stepping onto the MMA road, Collum has impressed all around and also holds a few TKO victories that speak volumes to his ability to absorb and quickly learn. He is unbeaten, and has faced (thus far) fighters who had much more “on paper” experience.

Collum is gritty, relentless, and has fought through some tough situations and come out on top every single time. We have seen him in danger more than once, but these moments flash by as Collum continues to find holes in his opponents, and ways to win. He has developed into a well rounded fighter in an amazingly short amount of time, and the potential is limitless. He is an intelligent fighter, one who can change things up on the fly, and never backs down for a moment. He is one of the most talked about fighters in the ammy field at 145, and on this side of the fence, a vast majority of fans feel he is on his way to becoming the next Conflict Featherweight Champion.

War of the Words Radio #105: Former champ Bart Weeks hungry for Conflict Gold

    in MMA

    Conflict 28 - May 16 - Hardeeville - SC - The Music Vault - SSFightStore.com

THURSDAY 5/07/15 FEATURED GUEST: Enter Augusta Fight Clubs Bart Weeks. Former Featherweight champion, Weeks (4-2) recently relinquished the title in order to fight closer to his natural weight at 155. A very well rounded striker (his KO of the Year Award will show you that one) with bricks for hands and the heart of a lion, there can be no question about Weeks intentions on May 16th. A fun and outgoing guy by nature, Bart Weeks is all beast when the cage door closes, make no mistake about that. He is known for his tenacious style, ripping punches and smart grappling.

We recently caught up with Weeks about this upcoming title bout, and here is a bit of what he had to say:

“Of course the belt will be mine…. Remember nobody took my 145lb title. I gave it up to come take the 155lb belt and I have full intention to do so!”

Weeks coach, Chris Hauser, had this to add during the discussion:

“I never believed in destiny till I started training Bart Weeks 10yrs ago. He is the sole reason I’m a coach today. He is my inspiration and simply the baddest dude I know….. Kobe is in big trouble!”

TUNE IS THIS THURSDAY @2PM TO HEAR FROM WEEKS and CHRIS HAUSER ahead of CONFLICT 28

“I never believed in destiny till I started training Bart Weeks 10yrs ago. He is the sole reason I’m a coach today. He is my inspiration and simply the baddest dude I know….. Kobe is in big trouble!”

War of the Words Radio #106: Champion Kobe Wall intends to do more Than just Win

    in MMA

EVENT: Conflict 28: Wall Vs Weeks

May 16 - Hardeeville - South Carolina - The Music Vault - Fight Club Series -

Kobe Wall has been one of the most dominant fighters on the ammy scene, and further showcased his incredibly versatile skills recently with a submission and title snagging win over ATTs own Lamar Brown. At 13-1, Wall has a ton of experience, and his time as champion outside of Conflict MMA has only increased this. He wins, and impressively with headkick KOs, sneaky submissions and everything you would expect from a champion.

Kobe has an 89% finishing rating, and six of his wins came within five minutes of the opening bell. Wall has submitted eight opponents, knocked out three, and also won the 2014 Fighter of the Year Award. He is as much fire as you can challenge yourself with at 155 inside the Conflict cage, and Wall has made it clear he has zero intentions of letting go of his Conflict gold.

The War Against Black Degeneracy: It Starts Now

    in Politics

The war for Black survival in the 21st Century begins with Black self-respect.  And self-respect for Black people begins with the acknowledgment that we as Black men have failed our Race by allowing and continuing the use of the N-word.  If we don't develop a strong level of discipline and self-respect, we will never successfully wage war against white aggression.

As men, we are an embarrassment.  For over 2 1/2 decades, we have allowed our culture to decline into a situation where we allow ourselves to be classified as nig*ers and our women to be classified as bit*hes and whores.  As a result, (2) entire generations of youth have grown up in a culture where they don't remember a time when we didn't consider one another "nig*ers" and "bit*hes."

This reality has led to the increase of Black-on-Black violence in the Black community, sexual abuse and molestation, "homosexuality", and overall Black degeneracy.  This phenomenon of Black degeneracy will be the ultimate demise of our Race if we do not wage war against it.  There is no nice way to convince our people that self-respect is what's needed to raise our people out of our current condition.

Ultimately, in order to build anything suitable to save our Race from genocide and extermination, we must rid our community of the culture of Black degeneracy and replace it with Black self-respect.  The time for the warriors to come to the front is now.  Black men and women are going to have to physically fight in order to bring about a new age of Black decency and self-respect.  Spring time is here - so hit the gym.  It's war time!
