I hear so often that the angry atheist isn't helping the movement. Being angry doesn't help our position or cause. It doesn't push the conversation forward. It doesn't help move people away from faith or belief. It only serves to fortify the religious in their rut of superstitious ideas.
Or does it? When I was a believer, I got angry at all the caustic atheists, and wanted to prove them wrong. Doing so moved me to atheism. I realized that the jerk may be a jerk, but he was also right.
Let's talk about the different ways people talk about atheism and within the atheism movement. Are the mean, angry atheists helping?
Plus your calls. Let the awesomeness wash over you.
"You only want to be an atheist so you can go on sinnng!" Ever heard that before? There is so much wrong with this question, I want to do an entire show on it.
Do I want to be an atheist? Is sin the reason? What sin? Why would anyone think this?
I'll give my perspective.
Plus, your calls. The awesomeness is in your hands.
This installment of The Forbidden Fruit will ask the question, "How hard is it to date, living in a religious world?" You hear Christians say they are looking for god fearing mates. What makes them think that finding a god fearing mate will guarantee a successful relationship? When you declare yourself an atheist, have you just all but become undateable? When do you tell your perspective mate you don't believe in their god or any god for that matter? Do you wait for the first meal, right before grace time? Could you even be in a relationship with someone who believes in a sky daddy? What do you do? It's hard enough just to find anyone, let alone to find someone who does or does not believe in a sky daddy. Let's talk about it. Christians are always welcome, but tonight we really need your input here on The Fruit!
Call in number is 347-202-0492
Logical thinking! You might have heard that phrase a couple of times before, but do you really know what it implies? Logical thinking is to think on the basis of knowledge, what we know, and certainties, what we can prove
This week on Christians Unite Radio, we cover a story out of Canada where an Atheist minister is trying to stay ordained in the United Church of Canada. Doesen't this clash with the fundamental teachings of Atheism? We will take a look.
TW: rape. This show will discuss rape culture and other sensitive topics.
This past week, I posted a video I found from a friend of the show's wall. The video is of a couple of toddlers. One acts inappropriately, but the tag from the original post and the music editied into the clip suggest the people who originally posted it thought it was cute and adorable. I did not.
The comment section was incredible. Most agreed that the child behaved badly, and wondered why there was no parental interaction. But there were a few that thought my post and comments were over the top and outrageous.
I'm going to talk about the video, the reactions it got, the comments on the post and why this is important.
Did you see the post? You can call and give me your impression.
All the awesomeness will be here.
What is the value of free-thinking (not following another)?
Where can you apply that leadership for profit (necessary to a human's survival)?
Does romance start at home (your value to sustaining a relationship)?
What do you think abourt taking 100% responsibility for your life? If doing so could bring a new way of living, a free-thinking, spirituality, romantic driven world of prosperity, non-aging health, and enduring romance would you lead yourself instead of following politics or religion which require poverty to be needed? Would that mean we would have a religion of value creation that every one could subscribe to by being of value rather than a few leaders looking good?

Christopher Hitchens known as the angry athiest, but was he really mad at the God written of in the bible, or the millions of people claiming to be of God or Christian in differing religious orders and denominations teaching and preaching the doctrine of devils.
In these difficult days and times we often look to spiritual leaders for guidance and instruction in our lives. As Christians (followers of Christ) should these leaders speak from their mind, or from what is written based on the word of God? This show will examine things said by men and woman claiming to be Gods ministers to reveal whether or not they are speaking Gods word and doing his will. 1Pet 4: 11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through JesusChrist, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.We hope you tune in and listen to our show. We air programs on Blog Talk Radio at the following times: Sun 2:00pm, Tue 8:00pm, Wed 7:00pm, Fri 7:00pm & Sat 9:00am all eastern time.
