Take some time this week to remember your original happy hour: Saturday mornings as a kid, waking up at dawn, jumping on the couch with a bowl of chocolate cereal, turning on the ‘toons, tuning out the outside world, and working your way into a sugar hangover before noon. This week we flashback to the return of TNT and Steven Spielberg’s hit show Falling Skies last summer in recognition of the upcoming WonderCon (sorry WonderCon, but Star Wars Celebration is just too powerful a Force this season). Marke. walks us through what we may have missed and what we can expect with WonderCon round table interviews from many of the show’s stars, including Doug Jones (Hellboy, Pan’s Labyrinth), Sarah Carter (Final Destination 2, Smallville), Moon Bloodgood (Terminator Salvation, Eight Below), Seychelle Gabriel (The Last Airbender, The Spirit), and an exclusive interview with Connor Jessup. Heads up, Chicken Little.
Join Brandi Medeina tonight as she sits in for Dru and discusses a potential solution for out of control legislators. What do you see where you live? Is you local government standing up to the lawmakers who would erode your rights? Tonight we chat about counties and municipalities rising up and saying "NO, we will NOT enforce any unjust laws". Maybe it's a resolution, an intiative, a measure. What does your county sheriff believe? He/she is the highest law enforcer in the land. Also on the lineup, I want to hear your views on Utah's land reclamation, and the State Of Jefferson. Will the feds just let a new state be born? How do we circumvent negative responses? How do we garner support? Is revolution the only way?
Many unusual things are happening in our skies. The big question, are you ready to hear the truth about what it is? We will be covering what the future may be about to bring us and what is presently here. We will be touching on some discoveries that are hidden from the public. A don't miss episode on Angel Talk Radio Live.
This is a black arts and culture site. We will be exploring the African Diaspora via the writing, performance, both musical and theatrical (film and stage), as well as the visual arts of Africans in the Diaspora and those influenced by these aesthetic forms of expression. I am interested in the political and social ramifications of art on society, specifically movements supported by these artists and their forebearers. It is my claim that the artists are the true revolutionaries, their work honest and filled with raw unedited passion. They are our true heroes. Ashay!

We close with a conversation with Tash Nguyen, Sin Barras (without prison bars) & CURB and Fox Sloan, mother of Amanda Fox Sloan, who died in the Santa Cruz County jail in July 2013, about a rally/march concerning the unjust incarceration of so many young people, poor people, people of color and members of gender minorities http://sinbarras.org/
Service learning and civic engagement is an integral part of a Bryant University education. Bryant's mission is to develop its students into well-rounded, socially conscious leaders who will use their experiences and understanding to create a culture of community involvement and corporate responsibility at any future workplace and community.
Bryant University students Julia Leffray, Gabriela Martin, Tara Walker, Aneesh Mysore, Terrill Toe and Scout Benson are required to take a course called Management 200 as part of their curriculum of studies. In this course, students are members of a team that partners with local nonprofit agencies and applies management skills to semester-long projects that include fundraising, operations management, event planning, and program development.
Enter Paul Roselli, past Voice of Leadership guest; filmmaker and executive producer of These Three Words, a film about hope, love, and life; a film about 5 individuals with brain cancer.
Julia, Gabriela, Tara, Aneesh, Terrill and Scout were drawn to Paul's passion about this subject and applied to partner with him as their project. Paul chose them, hands down out of three separate groups that applied to work with him.
Our story is about how changing the perception about brain cancer has become a legacy program for these students; one that they hope will sustain itself even after they've graduated.
Brighter Skies is the name of their project.

America's second most egregious sin is the deliberate failing public school system. Education is a civil right and the system itself is proving to be a cash cow for corrupt politicians and government employee's. The callous response of the system controlled by the Teachers Union is criminal and the only way this will ever change is through parental revolt. Protest should be unimpeded until the destruction of this pipeline to destruction is abolished.
It's Run Your Mouth Night. And the Hot Topic is about Creflo Dollar, we have came up with another word for ECONOMICS for this cat, it's Trick-Con-Nomics. Creflo, has asked 200,000 of his followers to contribute $300, to a cause/campaign to buy a $65M G650 Jet, so him, Taffy, and his crew can travel the skies in comfort in order to share the word of Grace around the globe. Creflo Dollar has done the do, now. Do you followers know how much money it takes to fill up a jet to fly one way? Is yall, getting on the Jet, with him and them? Y'all getting a tax write-off...What?
Has Creflo gone mad!? Is this a trick? We know God said ask, and you shall recieve, but now I have to question Creflo's grace with God. The Devil is a liar! I thought the church is suppose to be about savings, Dollar on reserve? In this case, "The World Changers Church," is changing lives in the world of trick-con-nomics, and fleecing the sheep and pulling wool over their eyes to do it. Is Creflo Dollar pimpin' in the pulpit, or pimpin' in his convo? Please somebody come and help us talk about this Brotha' cause if, the Church allow him to get this Jet, souls are going to be lost and their possessions too!
Predators on a Higher Level, Yall! God don't need no gifts, and neither is you the President of the United States, Creflo; even the President is flying a jet, based on the economy...what's up with that?
What are the intellectual responsibilities of the naval professional? What is the canon sound thought in the maritime realm is based?
Historically, what has been done, what has worked, and what should we be doing? Should the naval professional just focus on his narrow area of expertise, or does he need to have a more interdisciplinary approach to his intellectual development?
Our guest to discuss this and more for the full hour will be William M. Beasley, Jr., associate attorney with Phelps Dunbar, LLP in Mississippi. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Mississippi with a BA and MA in history where his graduate thesis examined the impact of popular culture, inter-service rivalry, civil-military relations, strategic planning, and defense unification on the "Revolt of the Admirals" of 1949.
Mr. Beasley received his JD from the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he served on the editorial board of the Mississippi Law Journal. Prior to joining Phelps Dunbar, Mr. Beasley worked as a research consultant with the Potomac Institute in Arlington, Virginia. He is a member of the Center for International Maritime Security (CIMSEC) and his work on maritime history and security has appeared in Proceedings, The Strategy Bridge, and USNI Blog.
