Coming off their first win of the season with a 26-10 victory over the Tennessee Titans, how will the Boys keep the momentum going against the struggling St. Louis Rams? For years the Cowboys have been looking for a clear cut leader on the field, is DeMarco Murray turning into that guy?
Can the Cowboys Defense continue to play at a high level, and will the return of Orlando Scandrick bolster the secondary even more? Those topics are just the tip of the iceberg, so Fans, Haters, and Football enthusiast join us by calling in at (347) 945-7086 at 11:00 a.m. for Silver & Blue Saturdays right here on Sportzfam Radio
"Political science tells us that campaigns are about driving elections towards or away from a natural outcome. When modelers make models, they are trying to predict a ‘natural’ endpoint. There is always the possibility of biasing your actual calculation. Adding in assumptions like fundamentals could be right and could be wrong, but what they represent is basically a hypothesis about where the race ought to be. Making a model like that is a good political science experiment, but we should be clear that we are adding assumptions on top of the polls."Dr Sam Wang
"That model is wrong(Dr Wang's) — not necessarily because it shows Democrats ahead (ours barely shows any Republican advantage), but because it substantially underestimates the uncertainty associated with polling averages and thereby overestimates the win probabilities for candidates with small leads in the polls. This is because instead of estimating the uncertainty empirically — that is, by looking at how accurate polls or polling averages have been in the past — Wang makes several assumptions about how polls behave that don’t check out against the data." Marko Baloh is currently working on his altitude training riding all the high Colorado passes in preparation for the upcoming Silver State 508. He takes time out from his training regime to speak with us on a rainy Monday. The Slovenian is one of the best in our sport and is nearly untouchable in distances up to 1,000 miles. Along with his multiple world records in the ultra distances Marko is still highly competitive in traditional bicycle racing. He is a past winner of the Furnace Creek 508 and would like nothing better than to add a victory at the Silver State 508 to his resume.
Join me and my special guest Novelist Nichole Peters as she speak about how to BREAK loose from what's holding you back. How to never give up even when you think its over.
She will give seven steps to help you in Breaking into your Independence.
I look forward to meeting you on the call. The call in number is 718-508-9987. If you have a question or comment you can press the 1 key once the call is open up at the end.
Come with expectancy GOD Bless You Much Love
After his performance at the 2014 Race Across the West Marko Baloh of Slovenia is a heavy favorite at the Silver State 508. We visit with Marko this evening to discuss his views of the upcoming race, strengths, weaknesses and, hopefully, a bit of race insight for one of the best in the sport.
