Paul Harrop, Producer/Videojournalist for AOPA Live. Today, Paul, Video-journalist for the largest aviation organization in the world, AOPA. Paul shares his passion for story telling and aviation.
The Oklahoma native comes from a long line of pilots. His father, grandfather and an uncle were all pilots. He grew up fascinated with two things: Aviation and Storytelling.
After graduating from the Kravis Broadcast Institute, Paul began his television career at a production company in Oklahoma City as a project manager. From there, the news bug bit, and he became a freelance field producer and photojournalist. Working with the cable networks, the big stories took him all over the place; from wildfires on the Great Plains to Hurricane Katrina and even the Michael Jackson trial.
In 2006 he made the jump into local news at KSWO 7 News in Lawton, OK before spending nearly three years at KOCO Eyewitness News 5 in Oklahoma City covering breaking news and severe weather. While there he took part in projects that earned a Peabody Award in 2008, an Edward R. Murrow Award in 2009 and an Emmy Award in 2010.
Paul served for several years at KAUZ Newschannel 6 in Wichita Falls, TX. He started as the Morning Co-Anchor and was bumped up to the role of evening Reporter. His powerful brand of visual storytelling and watchdog reporting earned the trust of Texas. Something Paul will always be proud of.
He is also an award-winning storm chaser, and has been an FCC-licensed Ham Radio operator (call sign WX5USA) since 1999. Paul is currently working towards becoming a pilot. http://www.AOPA.org/ThisWeek

F. A. Grieger author of: Chase The Rabbit, is an aerospace engineer, entrepreneur, and businessman. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in engineering, finance, and international business economics.
A first-generation American, he has started and sold several small businesses, has run two privately held companies, and has lived both in Europe and the United States. A proponent of self-reliance, he grew up in a small family business where he started working at age twelve.
Chase The Rabbit
Chase the Rabbit explains how we have been robbed of our property rights, our prosperity, and our individual liberty. To learn what you as an individual must do now to restore these values for yourself, your family, and your fellow Americans, you must read this book.
Provocative and insightful, F.A.Grieger integrates economics, history, education, home ownership, banking,
taxation, and politics in a way that anyone can understand. With irrefutable data, and a relentless indictment of our government’s cancerous partnership with the Federal Reserve, he connects the dots on the deliberate destruction of our individual property rights. Tonight Pop Art Painter Jamie Roxx (www.JamieRoxx.us) welcomes the LA Based Psychedelic R&B Band, Hipnotics to the show!
Hipnotics are an up-and-coming, and I mean rocketing to the moon, experimental psychedelic rock band from Los Angeles. Heavily influenced by the cosmic sounds of the late 60’s, the band consists of five music-savvy individuals: Lead Guitar/Vocalist - Matt Ernst, Bassist - Sean Conway, Drummer - Josh Apple, Guitarist/Keys - Zach “Binxy” Apple, and last but not least, Flautist/Saxophone - Zach “RoseGold” Rose - the newest addition to the band.
Most have known each other for over eight fruitful years. Together they’ve developed a unique style of vocal sampling and sound wave manipulation that combines their R&B, Rock n’ Roll and psychedelic influences.

While most of the world is nervously watching terrorism news from Europe, Africa, and Southwest Asia, savvy analysts and military professionals are watching the Western Rim of the Pacific region where tensions with the Peoples Republic of China (PRC) have been rising. Within a region known as the "9 Dash Line." China has been building a series of small island bases that include sensors, armed garrisons, along with airfields capable of operating fighters and large transport aircraft. Many observers see this as an act of regional aggression by the PRC, and have begun to react directly to Chinese harassment of aircraft and ships operating in what they consider "international waters." Most recently, the United States has begun to conduct "Freedom of Navigation" operations around these islands, arousing both anger and strong verbal reactions by the Chinese. The question is, is this a possible path to war? Or simply standing up to a PRC which has developed bullying tendencies over the past several decades?
To learn more about what is happening in the South China Sea, tune into this week's edition of Military Monday (#MilitaryMonday on the Writestream Radio Network (@Writestream)) at 1 PM EST. Author, historian, journalist, documentary filmmaker, and host John D. Gresham (@greshamj01) along with U.S. Marine Corps University chair and U.S. Naval Institute author Christopher David Yung will discuss the situation inside the 9-Dash Line, and what might happen in the near future regarding these vital waters. Listners are encouraged to call in, and offer questions and opinions on this important situation.
