Dr. Kevin Butterfield and my 'new' friend 'Otto The Comic' hope to stop by during the second hour - you'll be quite surprized at the offerings and inspiration if not pure laughter. At least two of us made it to Vegas! Otto is as inspiring as human beings can be. Funny too! We'll get a Wellness Racing update from the 'Buttery-one' and a peek into the next formal year of plans for brain injury recovery, awareness and 'Racin'...
More on Vegas - the other side of Sin City I was able to see. Plus David Copperfield will pop in and out (you won't see him tho - its an illusion); Lefty will be purring on my lap, reminding me BlogTalk" and 'Skype" has reconfigured itself (we shall see) to work as one. If not, my phone seems to always work (damnit) and we'll be on the air, Live! From Downtown Milton - Grab Your Ruby Slippers!....
Did I mention I'm one of three newly crowned 'Super Hero'? Not Batman or Superman, or even Thor. Nope, of the Survivor-variety! And all this time, I've just been Matt Duffin, trying to make you smile through my goofy eyes....

I left home at the age of 16 to join a cult, and became one of the "wives" of the cult leader, Malachi York at the age of 19. I left at age 23 after finding out he was sexually abusing the girls and boys of cult members, including the children of his "wives". Currently, he is in prison, serving 176 years however many of the children who stepped forward were harassed to no end by fanatics who don't believe Malachi York is guilty and by members who know he’s guilty but don't want the publicity. Many victims have retracted their statements because of intimidation and are now viewed as liars, betrayers, or demons for going against the leader.
I helped raise many of those children and I can't express how angered/heartbroken I am for them and that so many still follow him and don't believe the abuse actually happened. Many were pulled out of school after 8th grade and are struggling to find their way as young adults.
This is my story.

Ruby S. Garnett (her pen name) is the ex-co-wife of one of the nation's largest occult leaders, Dr. Malachi York, of the Nuwaubian movement. For nearly six years Ruby committed herself to an isolated and inexplicable lifestyle that included a 3-year polygamous marriage with the cult's leader and participation in abnormal activities that were far beyond anything she was taught as a child. As a result, Ruby suffered emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual bondage and suffered with depression for many years after.
