Causing our worlds to bleed into each other, measured or not, through juxtaposed strokes of intent, or divine intervention. A blending of spirit and breathe creating the Picasso of the grandest illusion of all, life.
I hear our beauty both pure and naught whispered in feelings that race through me with the sole purpose to be understood. Moments of song sent to me through time at lightning speed from places I do not know, but demand to become words expressed and shared.
I write about internal byways of thought, action, and perception that are ours to use. Believing we are a magical phenomenon that can radiate vibrational beauty from knowledge harbored deep within. That once we know we are one with source and are never alone we will have nothing to fear.

An increase in the rate of suicides around the holidays is unfortunate myth, according to the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). In fact, the month of December actually boasts the lowest rate of suicides for the entire year.
It seems that the media has perpetuated this holiday suicide myth, according to The Annenberg Public Policy Center. Researchers from the center analyzed articles over the last 10 years and found that 40% of the articles continued to report the incorrect myth, even though national statistics clearly show the opposite trend.
It is important to remember that while suicide rates may be lower during the holiday months, suicides in children still occur. If you believe that your child is suicidal or thinking about harming herself, it is important to seek immediate treatment.

I often hear about the controversy around vegetarianism primarily focusing on the moral issues surrounding eating animals. Then I found this fascinating book called "The Vegetarian Myth" that takes a new spin on the issue, as it takes a controversial examination about the destructive history of agriculture.

I will tell the story of my work with several individuals suffering from so-called Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or PTSD. I will widen the story's focus to include the role that war has in making human life meaningful and how the way we currently deal with returning soldiers helps insure that while we pray for peace we insure the reality of the next war. I will reprise how the myth of mental illness and the role played by the mental health industry based on Psychiatry silences the voices of those veterans that are filled with fear, rage, shame, guilt and profound feelings of betrayal at the hands of the politicians that sent them to war. I will suggest that when those of us fail in our role as citizens to speak out against those who glorify war we not only insure the reality of the next war but we abandon those soldiers seeking to create new meaningful, creative and loving lives. I will argue again that anyone can be a psycho"therapist" for themselves and others if they learn how to say and to listen to that which society says is unsayable.
