Artist Andrea Dopaso was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her mother, Norma Lado, is a well-known music composer, and her father a Doctor in Psychiatry. At age 15, she began studying with master Anselmo Piccoli, a well-established constructivism and geometric painter, who quickly became her mentor. She studied under Mr. Piccoli's tutelage for almost a decade; and he was the first to present her work to the art world. During the same period she received her master of Architecture and Urban design (1989) Universidad Nacional de Buenos Aires. Andrea moved to Los Angeles in 1990, where she resides today. It wasn't long before she expanded her career, working as a Designer and Concept Illustrator on such major motion pictures as American Beauty, The Life of Pi, Star Trek -the future begins- ,where she had the chance in a life time of creating the concepts illustrations for the interior of the new Enterprise, with production designer Scott Chambliss. Also in her resume : Angels & Demons, Spiderman 1, 2 and 3, Oz, Iron Man 3, Coraline and more. Hollywood gave her the opportunity to combine her love for painting and drawing with her love for architecture, and it provided the funding for her to create the incredible. Meet: Sam Sackett, author of Adolph Hitler in OZ!
Sam Sackett was born in 1928 in Redlands, Caliornia. His mother read to him when he was a boy, and as a result he always wanted to be a writer. He was editor of his high school newspaper.
At the University of Redlands he took creative writing courses, was editor of both the school's newspaper and its literary magazine, became the university's Director of News Service while still an undergraduate, and wrote two novels, neither of which was ever submitted for publication.
