    CORIN NEMEC

    Corin "Corky" Nemec is known for playing the title character in the television series "Parker Lewis Can't Lose." He was also 'Jonas Quinn' in "Stargate SG-1," and as 'Harold Lauder,' in the ABC miniseries, "The Stand."


    Nemec was inspired to become an actor after watching "The Goonies," at age 13, for which his father had done the art direction. He began training with the Centre Stage LA theatre company and signed on with an agent after performing in one of their talent showcases. He was booked for several commercials, including Suzuki, eventually landing a guest spot on "Sidekicks," starring Ernie Reyes, Jr. His first major film role was in the film, "Tucker: The Man and His Dream," in 1988. He earned an Emmy nomination for his portrayal of Steven Stayner in the television film, "I Know My First Name is Steven." He also starred alongside Jack Palance, Peter Boyle, and Charlton Heston in the 1990 film, "Solar Crisis."


    He played the title character in the television series, "Parker Lewis Can't Lose," for three years, and was cast in the TV adaptation of Stephen King's, "The Stand.' Corin appeared additionally in "Goodbye, America," "My Brother's Keeper,"  and "Blackout," with Jane Seymour. TV movies include, "Rales From the Crypt," "Smallville," "CSI: NY," "CSI: Miami," "Supernatural," and "Ghost Whisperer." He also portrayed serial killers Richard Speck and Ted Bundy. He appeared from 2002-04 as 'Jonas Quinn' on "Stargate SG-1."


    His new film is "Besties," to be released January 4th.

    Erin Bethea is a professional actress currently based in Los Angeles, CA She received her BA in Theatre from the University of Mobile where she was able to put her love of live theatrical performance to use in over a dozen shows including Annie Get Your Gun (Dolly Tate), Nuncrackers (Sister Robert Anne), The Pajama Game (Babe Williams), Annie (Grace Farrell), Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged (Juliet/Player), The Trip to Bountiful (Thelma), The RH Factor: A Review of the Works of Rogers & Hammerstein (Feature Soloist), and Smoke on the Mountain (Denise Sanders). 


    Erin was also given the great privilege of playing the lead role of Catherine Holt in Sherwood Pictures' third film, "Fireproof", opposite veteran actor Kirk Cameron. "Fireproof" was released nationwide in over 900 theaters in September of 2008 at Number 3 in the weekend box office. It was the number one independent film of 2008.


    Erin has gone on to star or appear in many other films over the years. She made a small cameo in the film "Letters to God". Erin was thrilled to play opposite Sean Astin (Rudy, Goonies, Lord of the Rings) in the recently-released "Amazing Love". She also has starring roles in soon to be released films such as "This Is Our Time", "Laughing at the Moon", and "Redemption".

    Buried Treasure of the Week: YOUNG SHERLOCK HOLMES

    1985's YOUNG SHERLOCK HOLMES was a heart-breaker for all involved. Produced by Steven Spielberg and Henry Winkler (yes, THAT one!), written by GREMLINS, THE GOONIES' Chris Columbus (who'd later direct the first two HARRY POTTERs), and helmed by Barry Levinson (RAIN MAN, THE NATURAL), it was a loose but loving adventure which speculated Holmes & Watson meeting as boarding school students who team to solve a series of terrifying murders on campus. Not a box office success at the time, it has since become a fan favorite which would also launch the filmic careers of the directors of BLADE and TOY STORY; and even serve as structural inspiration for J.K. Rowling's HARRY POTTER yarns. Includes film audio clips, as well as excerpts from Bruce Broughton's classic score, and archival interview commentary by Pixar / Disney Studio head John Lasseter - at the time responsible for the film's legendary signature FX sequence (one of the first via CGI) - the come-to-life "Stained Glass Warrior Knight".
