A little about me: I've been a finalist in a cooking demonstration competition, prepped and plated up food alongside some famous Food Network chefs, volunteered at large food and wine charity events, and judged at World Food Championships competitions in California and the Finals in Las Vegas. But my greatest passion is for quality food that doesn't bust the average family's budget!
I am not a vegetarian, but I do like to balance my diet by eating healthier during the week. So, I observe #MeatlessMondays and #FishFridays because it's not just healthy, but also economical (and good for the environment)! If you're a die-hard meat-eater like me, you won't give up meat for even one meal a week unless the dish tastes great. So I search out dishes where you don't feel like it's missing something or lacking flavor!
I will also talk about what you can do with things on sale, or re-purposing leftovers. I once fed a hungry group of 20 poker players a corned beef & cabbage dinner on St. Patrick's Day, (yes, mostly men) for only $20. And a few went back for second and third helpings!
I have met some very cool, fun people in the food industry, and I hope I'll be able to share their stories - - starting with my own! I'll also tackle some of the food news or trends that pop up and share my take on these fads, while sharing information and recipes.
I have no formula set in stone about how this show will go moving forward, so if I get a lot of interest, I may address questions on air that you send to me! So please tell your friends about this show and let's have some fun while we save money!

Khartika Goe is the author of the eclectic book “The Multidimensional Traveler: Finding Togetherness.” Ms. Goe completed her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Los Angeles in 2011. She pursued graduate studies at Columbia University in the City of New York before embarking on her research of the metaphysical dimensions. Ms. Goe has travelled extensively throughout the world and has been successful in capturing other dimensional beings and planes of existence on film. Many prominent esoteric authors and researchers have used her accounts and photos
for their own research in the multidimensional realms.
After five years of assisting various metaphysical researchers, she finally came public with her own accounts in her groundbreaking article, “Adventures in Alternative Realities,” which was published in sixteen languages and sold in over thirty countries by Nexus Magazine (April/May 2013). Ms. Goe is one of the youngest authors to be featured in Nexus Magazine; her first publication generated over two hundred emails from interested readers, leading her to hold short courses. Following her article, she has also been contacted by documentary filmmakers hoping to use her accounts for future projects. Ms. Goe has evolved from a rigorous academic background into ardently writing and lecturing on the unknown and the mysteries of the universe. Her current work focuses on assisting children with physical and developmental disorders in the development of their energetic abilities. She is in the progress of establishing a specialized school dedicated to teaching these children how to utilize their energetic potentials. Her website is www.thetogetherness.com
Hosts Phil Bowermaster and Stephen Gordon look at three technologies that are getting more attention lately and with good reason: they stand an excellent chance of changing everything about our world.
Thorium-based nucelar power can revolutionize our energy infrastructure.
The convergence of augmented reality and virtual reality will utterly transform the way we experience the world.
Google's application of deep learning neural net technology will not only change Web search and how we interact with computers, it might bring about the biggest change of all.
What do all these changes mean? Tune in and explore.
In response to Neil deGrasse Tyson's suggestion that we should develop fully hack-proof systems, one Twitter user quipped that we should also develop umbombable cities and unkillable people. Blogger Iowahawk joked that we should also be working on a dog that poops money. He didn’t know how that would work; let the scientists work out the details!
Hosts Phil Bowermaster and Stephen Gordon discuss the merits of grandiose ideas that are much easier to dream up than to implement. Are they always a waste of time or could there be some merit in Tyson's idea? Or even Iowahawk's?
PLUS: Phil and Stephen introduce some big ideas of their own.
