Tonight Pop Art Painter Jamie Roxx (www.JamieRoxx.us) welcomes Jenna and Sam of the fantastic Folk/Pop/Americana band Valley Shine to the Show!
Valley Shine was distilled from a love of whiskey, cats and bluegrass music. In early 2014, Jenna Blake was in search of a writing partner with an appreciation for folk music who shared her passion for songwriting. Hailing from Louisville, KY, Jenna was influenced by traditional bluegrass music and roots rock like CCR, CSNY and Joni Mitchell. By a sheer stroke of luck, Jenna discovered Sam Sobelman and the two met up to see if there was any musical chemistry. After a couple of writing sessions influenced by whisky, laughs and some banjo pluckin', they quickly discovered their songwriting styles were a perfect match.

Tonight Pop Art Painter Jamie Roxx (www.JamieRoxx.us) welcomes the Fantastic Kari Rueslåtten (Atmospheric, Dark, Melancholic Norwegian Folk Music), to the Show!
Kari Rueslåtten’s forthcoming studio album, To the North, is inspired by the dramatic landscapes of northern latitudes and will evoke imagery in listeners’ minds akin to the dark, brooding visual scenes of film and TV’s “Nordic Noir” genre.
To the North is a follow up to last year´s successful ‘Time to Tell’ opus and this time Rueslåtten has brought a darker–edged atmosphere to her acoustic, melancholic Norwegian folk. She has taken inspiration from Norwegian and Celtic folk music, along with artists such as Loreena McKennitt, Tom Waits and Emmylou Harris. To the North is the Trondheim based singer´s 6th studio release and includes her stunning cover version of The Byrds´ classic hit , “Turn, Turn, Turn”. The album was released on 22nd October.

Hipnotics are an up-and-coming, and I mean rocketing to the moon, experimental psychedelic rock band from Los Angeles. Heavily influenced by the cosmic sounds of the late 60’s, the band consists of five music-savvy individuals: Lead Guitar/Vocalist - Matt Ernst, Bassist - Sean Conway, Drummer - Josh Apple, Guitarist/Keys - Zach “Binxy” Apple, and last but not least, Flautist/Saxophone - Zach “RoseGold” Rose - the newest addition to the band.
Most have known each other for over eight fruitful years. Together they’ve developed a unique style of vocal sampling and sound wave manipulation that combines their R&B, Rock n’ Roll and psychedelic influences.

Shiloh Musik, singer and songwriter for Baltimore-based band Fathom, has invented a genre he calls "RomantiCore." Shiloh is influenced by rock icons such as HIM, The Rasmus, and MUSE, as well as classical composers Mozart, Beethoven, and Bach. Fathom’s sound includes heavy guitars, haunting piano, and rocking grooves, with a good share of double kick. On top of that, add Shiloh’s heartfelt, often lamenting, vocals with an occasional scream, and you have the perfect mix of romantic and hardcore… RomantiCore.
