Today is Friday, and i'd like to delve into history. Today I am going to talk about the declaration of independence, and it's place in regards to the constitution. Is the Declaration simply an outdated document, of little use in today's world? Or is it the soil in which the constitution was planted, and our nation grown? Listen in today as we discuss the Declaration's place in our history, and in our lives today..
Thank you for joining me. Today is July 4, 2013 and I have signed a petition to read the Declaration of Independence for a public... so you are it! I hope you will listen with family, friends, children and/or acquaintances so that each of us knows why we celebrate this day every year and what we, as Americans really are meant to stand for. The intent of the framers is very clear but the spirit of the nation is very strained so let's see how close we are to our beginnings through this heartfelt document for us and our posterity.
Today I will have to take no calls but next week, we'll certainly have callers. Thank you for your patience
I will be talking about our American "Declaration of Independence" and all that comes to mind regarding how it was developed.... the why's, and what has happened since. Plus, I am going to be talking about Ziggy's family that is going through a tremendously terrible time in Canada, and what you can do as a Listener to help. You can go to site below to find out more. This is one way to help... sign this petition. http://www.change.org/petitions/immigrat
I will go over our countries Declaration of Independence, and discuss the true meaning of how we became a country. Where are we now compared to where our Founding Fathers wished us to be? Call in with your opinions to 949-272-9418 www.livetruth.us or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
America is the only home most Americans have ever known. There are Native Americans, and then there is everyone else. Our ancestries are numerous. Most Americans are here today because their ancestors sought better days. I ain't made with'em
The Native Americans are here because they are the original people of this land. My ancestors are here because they sought to do their jobs according to their African culture. Being viewed as a commodity, a ship captain saw a way to make money and he seized the opportunity by stealing a people.
July 4, 1776 the colonies legally held themselves out to the world as a free nation in it's own rights. This is my view of the history of the United States. But be clear, the states each were at the time a separate unit under no other control.
