How to Keep a Man Interested in You
All over the web, in book after book, and in women's magazines like Cosmo, Woman's Day, Essence, Ebony, and even teen magazines, are articles that tell females what they must do, say, wear and be like in order to "keep" their boyfriend or husband interested in them.
Since when did it become the sole responsibility of the female to keep a man interested in her or a relationship? Who said that?
I do know that if a man cheats one of the first things black women do is blame the female, chastising her with comments such as "you can't KEEP your man" or "you must not be doing something right so he has to go get it somewhere else!" Black men happily buy into this blameshifting mentality because it takes the heat off them!
And why do so many men expect to sit on their butt and not lift a finger to entice or romance their women, but expect HER to do all the work emotionally, sexually, physically and in every other way to bring HIM entertainment and excitement?
Is it possible for a woman to keep a man interested in her who has lost interest? What does she have to do? And does it make sense to even try to take on such a burdensome responsibility?

Keep Planting
Pastor Brad Morgan of New Life Beginnings Church in Pattison, TX, speaks from Genesis 8:22, "While the earth remains, seed time and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, and day and night shall not cease."
Everything that God calls you to do will require a seed ... possibly many seeds. Then, there is an element of time and then there is the harvest. Like the tiny Mustard seed, God requires us to sow something which looks very small, but He has a plan to make the seed in your field grow into something great.
God wants us to seed. "The path of the righteous shines brighter and brighter until the full day." We are called to develop ourselves. Proverbs 28:19-20 says, "He who tills his land will have plenty of bread." When you till your land there is work involved. You have to till your own land, plant your own seeds, to receive God's gifting.
Keep planting, with what God has placed on the inside of you, stay at it. Because as you stay at it God is going to bring forth a harvest.
