Hillary Feerick and Jeff Hillenbrand have been married for 15 years and have two young children. Months before their first child was born, they began to delve more deeply into infant and maternal nutrition. Health and wellness were priorities for their family, and they wanted to give their children the healthiest start possible. Six years later, compelled by the difficulties of raising healthy children in a fast-paced, junk-food-filled world, they decided to combine their expertise in health (Jeff holds a BS in exercise science) and writing (Hillary holds a BA and MA in English and is an English teacher) to create Mitch Spinach, a healthy role model for children. They wrote the first book in the series, The Secret Life of Mitch Spinach, with a passion to help abate the trend in nutrition-related diseases, such as type II diabetes, childhood obesity, ADD, ADHD, and chronically low immune systems.

Beantown Pals favorites Patricia Shih and Katherine Dines join Tom Hayes in another great episode of Beantown Pals.
Patricia Shih wrote her first song at age 12 and hasn't stopped since. At the age of 15, she signed a recording and management contract with Unicorn Records of Washington, D.C. as half of a duo. This marked the start of her professional career. A 45 RPM record was released a year later, and numerous, T.V., radio, concert and club performances followed. Included are an international radio broadcast on the Voice of America and appearances at the legendary Cellar Door, where the duo was runner-up to Emmy Lou Harris in the competitive "Best of the Hoots." Several years later, Ms. Shih began her solo career in California, notably on her own PBS special Patty Shih - Music from the Gallery. Soon after, she returned to the east coast and settled in Huntington, N.Y.
Katherine Dines is an award-winning children’s songwriter, recording and teaching artist who performs throughout the world. Since 1993, her concerts have captivated children and family audiences, and her Hunk-Ta-Bunk-Ta® MUSIC cds (11 in series) have garnered over 30 national awards– including a Grammy nomination and a Platinum record. An advocate for literacy, the arts and education, Katherine serves on several national boards and presents keynote addresses at early childhood and library conferences. Her songs have been featured in Build-A-Bear Workshops, Disney’s 101 Dalmations Dog Songs, Hallmark greeting cards, and United Airlines and can be heard regularly on satellite radio stations. She resides in Denver, Colorado and continues to write songs for other clients, and expand Hunk-Ta-Bunk-Ta® MUSIC into other product areas such as books, toys, movies, the world wide web and television.
We are living in the last days were things are getting harder everyday especially with our own family, childrens are against there parents as the parents are against there children... the enemy is out there to distroy and if we as parents dont use the authority that the Lord God has gave us we will loose the battle so Saints use the Authority that the Lord has gave you as parents.
Growing up in a small 3 bedroom house in Raleigh, North Carolina; Al Chauncy experienced what it was like to live in a lower income neighborhood called Apollo Heights. With three brothers in one room and one boxed floor television in the living room, he had to become more creative. Being the Son of a Rock & Roll/Jazz trained Pianist, Al Chauncy’s musical prowess begun at the early age 11; penning his first song to the Maxi single instrumental of Ice - T “Original Gangster”. Being involved around church since his early childhood, Al Chauncy learned three part harmonies and vocal arrangements from singing in The Gospel Music Workshop of America(Ricky Dilliard, Vickie Winans, James Moore), and the MLK All Childrens choir. His story telling style is heavily influence by The Notorious BIG and his love for storylines in films. At the age of 16 he joined a super rap group Bloodline which comprised of 6 members who sung and rapped; they were compared to The Fugees and even got a chance to work with the Fugees producer/engineer Joe “The butcher” Nicolo in Philadelphia. In the midst of the few lucrative deals Bloodline had on the table, the group disbanded due to creative differences. After the big group break up Al Chauncy continued his musical dream and became a state wide figure in the Carolina music scene. He was nominated for Best Artist in the 2009 North Carolina Underground Music Awards and also recieved the moniker as The Carolina Mayor from his fans.
