Welcome to Dance with Mental Health with Meg Dog, bipolar peer specialist and Doc Reimers, psychologist in NJ. Dance With Mental Health is a talk show that advocates for positive mental health and wellness. When you "dance with your mental health condition" you are taking the right steps to move towards emotional healing by allowing self-acceptance at every turn. My Mental Health Story is a snapshot of someone’s true-life experiences struggling with a mental health condition. Their stories will touch your heart, open your mind and give you a deeper understanding and appreciation for the challenges that an individual faces as they journey towards wellness. Doc and Meg Dog will utilize these amazing stories to provide refreshing solutions, incorporating mindfulness, optimism and encouragement. Each week a few mental health stories will be shared and callers are free to comment. Lets join together and give a message of hope and inspiration to the mental health community.

In November 2014, I was honored as I was asked to provide the Fall Commencement Address for Argosy University's Schaumburg Illinois Campus.
The commencement, held at the Hemmens Auditorium in Elgin, Illinois, celebrated the Bacheloriate, Masters and Doctoral academic accomplishments of Argosy students. Many friends and family members of the students were in attendance to celebrate this remarkable achievement. And I wanted to inspire ALL, graduates and audience members, to motivate themselves to Tell Their Story!
The Power of Story is a key-note address and inspirational speech I created for the occasion. The talk encouraged all in the audience to view their own life story as a powerful inspirational tool for others and a motivational prompt for themselves.
We all have a powerful story even if we think our story is not ready for prime time. Our personal story features each of us overcoming adversity and developing perseverance in order to pursue a dream.
The Power of Story is NOT WHAT happens to you.
The Power of Story is HOW YOU RESPOND to what happens to you.
This is also the basis of most movies, television shows and our life long endevour of healing.

Most often, the view is a “law” view. Even, the most conscientious compassionate ones host a law view of family. God has a view. Always, His view is a “grace” view. And as always, His view is the best view. Join with us in a discussion forum of life-enriching topics that will help us to focus family according to a grace view. Indeed it is true, a better you begins with a grace view of God!
