Attorney Sarah Avraham and writer Bennet Pomerantz discuss the subjects of the day.
The audience should know that although Ms. Avraham is a licensed attorney, she is not offering legal advice in any capacity, is not establishing an attorney/client relationship with anyone listening to the show, and recommends that any listener of the show consult a local attorney for any legal advice they may require.
This show is about us discussing hot topics and how they relate to the law.
Technology is a beautiful thing. Automated tech is even better as it has made our lives easier in some cases. In others, however, what happens when automated technology ends up violating the law where it was created? This week’s case will focus on purchases made by an automated online shopping bot that ended up making purchases on the Deep Web that were illegal purchases. Join our hosts as they tackle questions such as: if these purchases were shipped to the U.S. who would be legally responsible for purchasing the goodies? Would it be the ones that programmed the bot, the bot itself, or someone else, like the server on which the contraband was available in the first place?
This FIST FIGHT FRIDAY, we've got an explosive show. Almost a month after the fiasco regarding WorldChanger's campaign http://tiny.cc/viyexx to raise funds for Creflo's brand new jet, he has broken his silence. Creflo's response, is just as outrageous and baffling the fundraiser itself. He's sure to raise that money now! But not without resistence from... CHURCH FOLK REVOLUTION!
Dollar claims in this response that he never asked his church members "for a dime" for the plane. However, the fundraising page http://bit.ly/1MzDgwf made an appeal to "members, partners, and supporters".
Mikey Wax is a pop singer originally from Oyster Bay New York whose new self-titled album on Toucan Cove Records has entered the iTunes top 100 pop chart, and the first single "You Lift Me Up" has received nearly 6 million Spotify streams and the second single, "Only One", is now receiving nation-wide radio airplay on SiriusXM's The Pulse. Mikey is also headlining his first USA tour this spring and we talk to him Friday.
Walt Cronin is a singer songwriter of Americana, Folk and Country from Los Angeles, CA. A trained veteran counselor, he himself suffered from PTSDF from working as a Navy Corpsman in Vietnam. He has been singing and recording country, folk, Americana and love songs for years and has just released his his 5th CD. He joins us this Friday in Segment 2
Real in the Field Gulls is back, and this week Kenneth and I are joined by Phil Savage (@SeniorBowlPhil), the Executive Director of the Senior Bowl and former former NFL personnel executive (Eagles '11-13), General Manager (Browns '05-'08), player personnel director (Ravens '03-'04), college scouting director (Ravens '96-'02), scout (Browns '93-'95), and coach (Browns '91-'92).
Legendary coach Bobby Gonzalez did pick Duke in last night's NCAA Championship game, in large part because he felt Wisconsin won a sort of national championship of their own on Saturday night when they beat the 38-0 Kentucky Wildcats.
Duke cruised into the final after a 20-point win over Michigan State, and it really showed last night in final stretch of the game as Duke had a little more in the tank to close it out.
In this interview with Robin Lundberg on ESPN Radio in New York, Gonzo talked about the breakout star performance -- and a name for the future -- with freshmen Grayson Allen coming in and saving the day by igniting the Duke team with his 16 huge points, his heart and hustle when they were down 9 points and Jahlil Okafor and Justice Winslow were on the bench with foul trouble. Allen and Amille Jefferson's defense on Frank Kaminsky was enough to get them in striking distance, then freshmen point guard Tyus Jones took the game over and put on a show for the ages of some of the most clutch plays you will ever see from a freshmen in the title game.
Last, Gonzo and Lundberg spoke about how Bo Ryan handled the Badgers' defeat, and where this 5th national championship now puts Coach K. (I wrote about it in my column for SheridanHoops back when he went over the 1,000 win mark.)

Dr. Dee Greathouse teaches this episode of her new season on blogtalk radio about one of the most misunderstood things in a believer's walk with Christ. "How do I get my prayers answered?" More poignantly, "Am I praying the right thing in order for God to hear my prayer and answer it?" Growing in faith is not always easy, however, once you learn how to operate in maturity and the understanding of God's Word...all things are open and available to you! According to your faith, be it unto you!
Dr. Greathouse will also reveal excerpts from one of the chapters in her new book, "What About Me?"
