Stress has been proven to play a role in so many health concerns – from asthma to migraines, cancer to heart disease, and now diabetes. The way you think about your work affects your stress level – and therefore your health. Spiritual Healing
How are distracting or harmful spirits created?
Do men have a different responsibility to healing matters in a family than women?
In this show we speak about the dangers of not allowing the soul to release aspects of our personality. When we come to a place of revelation after wisdom gathered from life lessons we have various ways that we can react. Lessons are learned through pain or through wisdom. How we learn is ALWAYS our own choice.
Choice is the primal urge of creation. Through that primal urge we create multiple realities and beings. We came into this world via choice, not compulsion. When we can accept the consequences and karma of our own choices we can release the aspects of our character that we only needed for the demonstration of a particular lesson.
Through our misinformed perceptions of power, often we hold onto these characteristics and aspects longer than their time-line. Doing this created soul tension...one of the most dangerous ailments in the universe. When we block the will of the soul, which is always evolution, we create spiritual congestion. This spiritual congestion leads us to unnatural acts of wickedness. Some call this "evil".
In this session we discuss this challenge and symbols associated with our graduations from ordeals and chapters in our lives.

A House Divided - Curtis Black-Kimberla Lawson Roby
A House Divided ( Reverend Curtis Black) Kimberla Lawson Roby In a family that's been torn apart, one innocent child may be the miracle that puts it back together. A HOUSE DIVIDED Life is close to perfect for the Reverend Curtis Black and his wife, Charlotte-except their son Matthew and his girlfriend, Racquel, are about to become parents at the tender age of eighteen. Even though Curtis and Charlotte wish Matthew could focus on Harvard instead of fatherhood, they are determined to welcome their new grandson with open arms. But for Charlotte, welcoming her future in-laws is another story. Try as she might, Charlotte can't stand Racquel's mother, Vanessa-and the feeling appears to be mutual. When the tension between Charlotte and Vanessa finally erupts, the stress sends an already-fragile Racquel into early labor. Everyone is quick to blame Charlotte, including Matthew and Curtis. That her own husband would side with someone else infuriates Charlotte and strains the relationship they've only recently been able to repair. Her one ally is Racquel's father, but that brings problems of its own.

Episode 195: Menelik Shabazz
This week on the BIG show, we'll sit down with British film director, Menelik Shabazz who will discuss his latest project, the documentary, The Story of Lover's Rock. Often dubbed "romantic reggae," Lovers Rock is a uniquely black British sound that developed in the late 1970s and 80s against a backdrop of riots, racial tension and sound systems. Lovers Rock allowed young people to experience intimacy and healing through dance- known as 'scrubbing'- at parties and clubs. This dance provided a coping mechanism for what was happening on the streets. Plus, we'll recap the Spring Movie season and review the latest films including Pain and Game and The Big Wedding. We'll have all that and more on Episode 183 on Keeping It Reel with FilmGordon, this Thursday afternoon beginning at 1pm on BlogTalkRadio.com.
