    Milling About with Ted Neeley

    in Entertainment

It's been 42 years since the original cast and crew of the 1973 film Jesus Chris Superstar have all been in the same room together, and tonight (April 27), Director Norman Jewison, Ted Neeley (Jesus,) Yvonne Elliman (Mary Magdalene,) Barry Dennen (Pontius Pilate,) and Josh Mostel (King Herod); to name a few, will reunite for a special screening at the Beekman theater in New York City.

Getting the band back together so to speak would've happened much sooner for Ted whose boundless enthusiasm for what he calls his life-changing role has never left. He tells host Robin Milling, “I've been trying to get this reunion to happen since the film came out. I've been trying to get all of us together to do another production; if nothing else just to hang out for a few days. It's never happened until now. And the fact that we'll all be in the same place at the same time with Norman is a miracle!”

Miracles have been known to happen in the life of Jesus Christ, but it almost didn't happen for Ted who reveals he almost missed out on being cast in the iconic role. He also tells Robin how he met his wife of over 40 years, Leeyan Granger on the set and how their two children have been happily following dad's adventures as a superstar.

Most actors run from one role defining their legacy but Ted has embraced Jesus, still performing the role wherever and whenever he can; most recently touring Italy for a year. He says joyfully, “It completely changed my life, spiritually, personally. So why slap that in the face? And I still love it; every performance is like the first time all over again. That music starts to play and I just lift off the ground, 'ok take me wherever you want me to go!”

She was first bitten by the entrepreneurial bug more than 10 years ago, when she began her first in-home business as a Mary Kay Sales Director. But she quickly realized that what she loved most about the business was the mentoring and training of the other women in her sales unit. So she decided to take a leap of faith and she created an entire business based on that, where she could support women all across the US. Women who wanted to work from home AND have an incredibly successful business.

Angela Sloan, CEO and Founder of, "Sloan Financial Group," For 30 years Angela Sloan, CEO and founder of Sloan Financial Group, has dedicated herself to helping her clients secure their financial affairs. Unfortunately at a young age, she was swindled out of her life savings by her “trusted” advisor. This misfortune motivated Angela to make it her life’s work to keep bad things from happening to good people. Angela’s sound, responsible financial advice and tax-saving strategies have helped her clients grow and protect their retirement nest eggs, even throughout these turbulent financial times. While she specializes in income tax planning and managed money, conservative investments, she has expanded her practice to include estate planning, long-term care insurance, Medicare supplements, life insurance and property and casualty insurance.

Ted Cruz and the Attack on His Experience

    in Politics Conservative

With Ted Cruz's announcement that he's running for president, all knives have come out to attack him.  And it's not just the mainstream media and Democrats.  In fact, some of the worst has come from the establishment GOP and right-wing media.  Once again, the right attacks as much as the left does, in fact maybe even more, to destroy a candidate whom they fear.

And the consistent message they are all touting is that Cruz has no experience and is no different than Barack Obama was when he ran for president in 2008.  We’ll take a look at some of the experience that Ted Cruz brings to his bid for the presidency.
