Sleepless Nights Radio w/ Chad Zumwalt

    in Paranormal

My exciting and incredible journey into the paranormal began after a negative encounter with the supernatural. It was at that moment I realized that evil really does exist. At age 16, I sought to find answers, not only for myself, but also for a close relative who remains scared to be left alone...even today after 40 years since their attack.

My focus, determination, perseverance and dedication have been driving forces in identifying, classifying and neutralizing what haunts the living. It didn't take me long to determine that the best way to get a reaction out of an entity was to make it angry. I developed a successful technique, using taunting teasing and harassing. This method was definitely unorthodox and frowned upon by most. I have never let that influence how I run my investigations. Not only has this guaranteed a response from these entities, but has also helped me gather an enormous library of evidence... tangible evidence of their existence.

Yes evil does exist. Your nightmares, your fears, and those things that go bump in the night should be respected. The majority of the cases I've  worked on over the years, have been families that have sought me out to give them answers or a better understanding of what is going on in their home.My top priority every time I start an investigation is to follow through with an interview of all family members to determine if there is a haunting. If there is, I use my proven techniques to make its presence known, gather evidence and I never conclude the case without exterminating that unseen pest and educating the clients. The saying, " knowledge is power " , is absolutely true. It is a scary reality, but I have yet to run into an entity or spirit that had good intentions. Their ultimate goal is to destroy humans... mentally, physically and spiritually. That's just what they do...But hunting them down is what I do.

The Week In Reviews -Drea M - Timebomb

    in Music

Drea. M commands the heart to listen. Soulful grit, haunting vocals, and mesmerizing live performances make this Bay Area songstress a must-hear sonic treat. With gutsy, raw emotion at the core of her songs, Drea. M does not compromise on the other elements of songwriting. Her lyrics are sophisticated, provocative, and expressed in unique cadences and layers, creating an unusual sonic quality, both edgy and refined. From multi-instrumental acoustic arrangements on her first album, Surrender (released under the name “Drea Muldavin”), to the more recent incorporation of electronic, orchestral, big-sound beats (such as her “Timebomb” single), Drea. M's style is ever-expanding, teasing her music into new realms. No matter the direction her songs take, what continues to drive her music is a haunting, atmospheric, and intricately textured sound, and an unwavering honesty about what it means to be profoundly alive. Drea. M has recently filmed a new video in support of her latest single, “Timebomb.”

I.R.F.R. Week: Children's and Teens' Forgiveness Day

    in Self Help

Parents should teach them about forgiveness & the forgiveness process. The schools/churches can host an event about forgiveness. Proverbs 22:6 states, “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.” Like Catherine Ponder suggested, “the forgiving state of mind is a magnetic power for attracting good. I believe this is true. The more I have forgiven myself and others in my life - the more miracles, joy and happiness flowed in easily.  And now isn't that what every parent wants? Kids that know how to be happier, more compassionate and forgiving of self and others so their best life just opens up in front of them with less struggle and more ease. I believe so.” Maureen Healy said, “I have found that parents that teach their kids how to "really forgive" set them up to succeed and create a foundation of strength as well as self-love.”

Is Teasing and Bullying due to Unforgiveness? Teasing and Bullying are contributing to over 4,000 deaths a year. Why? Is it due to unforgiveness? On the September 30, 2012 show, the special guest was author of “That’s Not My Name” and President of Tease Free Kids, Anita Fendall. Anita Fendall (www.TeaseFreeKids.com) discussed how to handle bullying & how to help someone who is being bullied. She discussed the progression of bullying from childhood and how to stop it before it is out of control. The archived show is at http://www.BlogTalkRadio.com/isam/2012/10/01/heal-our-nations.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. (Ephesians 6:1-4).

Highlighting Your Pretty Parts (and they are ALL pretty parts!)

    in Women

Today's show title is lovingly borrowed from my daughter, when she was four years old. While sharing a quiet moment she mentioned how someone was teasing her for a part of her body and she wasn’t sure how to react. My heart broke.  Searching for the blessing in the experience, I realized this presented an opportunity to delve into the lesson of loving oneself - wholeheartedly. After a few minutes of chatting in a manner she would understand, I was floored by her inherent wisdom! “If they REALLY want to talk about me, then they can talk about my pretty parts!”

It has taken me DECADES to understand that concept. I’ve spent years of insecurity and doubt, constantly comparing myself to everyone around me, and those in the media. It took the innocence of a four year old telling it like it is, for me to realize how simple self-love begins. So simple. So perfect. Now I get to practice.

    Today’s guest:

Dedra Whitt has been a professional makeup artist for 18 years and has brought her high level of experience and expertise to the development of her makeup line. Dedra has had the pleasure of working with some of the most beautiful women in the world: from super models, to celebrities, to stay at home moms. Dedra has developed the perfect makeup line to fit everyone’s beauty needs with the intention of allowing EVERY woman to see her beauty and feel her most beautiful every day.
