BULLYING - The effects in Children and Adults
Bullying has taken a different turn in recent years. At one time it was Teasing maybe sticking out your tongue at another child has turned into horrific degrading. Beatings, threats to kill, rape and more. Bullying has taken an Illegal turn.
Using the internet and social media to invade every portion of others life's bullying has resulted in children committing suicide.
Bullying is not just a Youth Issue. Adults are more and more often participating and committing severe acts of bullying much like there younger counter parts.
How do we deal with Bullying with out becoming the Bully? How do we help our children and ourselves?

The Weekly Read, Will it Go Round in Circles?

Not only is he risking the wrath of the United States and President Barrack (I will take you OUT) Obama, but even his “big brother” to the North, China is getting annoyed at this play. North Korea aside, there is still plenty of craziness here in America as once again the great state of Texas has shown that it’s higher education system is full of equal opportunity violence. Lone Star College has had yet another student attack. Today 14 people were STABBED, which I guess is an improvement from the shooting spree that rocked another campus of the school 3 months ago. And today we bid a fond farewell to several icons of world notoriety as Roger Ebert, Annette Funicello, and Margret Thatcher all passed away since last week’s show. Sound like a good show? Well we will hit these points and more, tonight at 8:00pm EST. Focusing on the major and sometimes overlooked topics affecting us in America today, the Nitelifer Circle of Sanity examines what is going on in Baltimore MD, Seattle WA, and all parts of the country in between. STR #134 03/26/13 S5e18 'The Wild Rover' Review
Who knew all this about Detective Kevin Ryan?! Wow! Certainly the #Castle showrunner Andrew W. Marlowe did and the writer of this Ryan-centric episode [long time Castle guru], Terence Paul Winter. Through this murder we learned some very interesting back stories on Ryan – who’s past was NOT quite as simple as perhaps we thought. We learned he was deep undercover with the Irish mob before joining Beckett's team and even had a tumultuous pre-Jenny romance.. <insert self face slap on that one>
This episode was directed by Rob Hardy and regardless of the murder; I really REALLY wanted a cupcake long after the episode from eyeing them at the beginning. Hm, I wonder if those “non samples” were all just props and sprayed with multiple chemicals to look so delicious to us in their non-consumable state.
On tonight’s STR we would love to hear what YOU thought about last night’s episode revolving around some of Kevin’s history and Jenny’s present life with him together. The bonus thread throughout the episode was learning of a positive shift in the confidence of Beckett in her relationship with Castle as demostrated by her fun teasing throughout resulting in new discovery about why Castle had the intense desire to write. Hope you can join us to talk about all this and those VERY thought provoking Caskett lines at the end of the episode.
