(267)521-0167 to discuss the evidence presented in the Hoffman Report, that there was collusion between the American Psychological Association and the Department of Defense. Open lines callers will be asked to discuss issues of the involvement of psychologists in torture, or working in war in general, or other ideas they have about the meaning of the report. I also will be discussing some unintended consequences of the investigation . . . .Curious?
Also discussed will be Division 35 and the President-elect's role in the PENS taks force and continued leadership role in the Society for Women in Psychology--

Per DOD: Bottom Line as of May 2015: Per AMC HQ, regarding H.R. 4435 Amendment 15 stating that 100% disabled veterans can fly Space-A, no guidance has been passed down to terminals to allow this. Until the DoD issues a memo incorporating any changes into DoD's Transportation Regulation (DoD 4515.13-R) guidance is passed down, 100% disabled veterans remain ineligible for Space-A.
Lets see if congress will fix this delay.
Marcy Wheeler, automotive expert, briefly discusses the race for the first driverless car.
Then we discuss the use, and misuse, of "crazy" as a way of describing Republicans on the Tea Party wing. Marcy argues that in an envrionment of absolutely insane policy like the US in Syria, or the F35 fighter project, we should be careful when throwing the C word around. One of the Village centrists' crazy policies is domestic surveillance--massive violations of the Fourth Amendment that Freedom Party Republicans work against. CISA, the Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act comes up. You can read some background on CISA and follow all these stories on emptywheel.net.
Passionate about the saxophone since he was a kid growing up in New York City, Gary Palmer frequently turned to the horn as an outlet and stress reliever during his many years as a law enforcement official. In addition to playing it to change the trajectories of difficult workdays, he always had contemporary/smooth jazz on the radio, calming him and helping him focus even when he was on high stress stakeouts with the Lauderhill Police Department and Broward County Sheriff’s Office, Fort Lauderdale, Fl. – retiring in 2010. Now, with the release of the multi-talented musician and performer’s highly anticipated smooth/urban jazz debut Love Me Again, Palmer is the one helping others chill via his cool, catchy melodies, old school production vibe, tropical flavors and easy funk grooves.
Like many musicians who set their dreams aside for ‘straight careers,’ Palmer began making up for lost time after he retired from the Broward Sheriff’s Office. Just as he was becoming immersed in the writing and recording of the album, he returned to the Broward Sheriff’s Office – where he originally began serving in the early 80s – to become the Colonel of the Department of Detention and Community Programs. Palmer has found exciting ways to merge his two worlds, performing events for the Florida Sheriff’s Association, the Ft. Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, the Lauderhill Chamber of Commerce and other civic functions. In addition to these gigs with his regular band (known as Gary Palmer and the GP Project, the saxophonist has created a side band comprised of colleagues of his at the Sheriff’s Office. They meet every Tuesday for two hours to work on cover songs and new material, and also perform regularly throughout the community.

If you want you can chose any photos on the page except of the veterans holding the canes.
Fishing on the Lake I got an old dead Cypress limb . I make art out of all kinds of wood. I took the limb to the shop and thought it would make a cool walking cane. People liked it I made more. I put hand made wooden gear shifter knobs on the tops . I decited since my sales skills are no good I would give them away. I chose to give them to veterans that are cane dependent. Made a facebook page. Made a video. Told everone to hit like . They did ,it went Viral. Now I have a back log of over 400 orders. Slowly getting help. But would love to see more help fro fellow Veterans. Its as most say Gods work. Its supporting a Brother or a Sister. In a time we feel pushed aside. We come together.

Cathy O'Brien and Mark Phillips, Tranceformation of America - The purpose of Part I of this book is to document how this reputation was gained. This brief and highly condensed contribution is intended to provide an understanding of why, when, and where I embarked on a study of the most secret technology known to man: Trauma-based mind control. Through the publication of declassified United States Government documents, our U.S Department of Defense (DOD) admits that this ancient wizard's mechanism for control is so dangerous that most information pertaining to it must remain Classified as TOP SECRET

We Americans are finally waking up to the sad and tragic fact that we have been terribly betrayed by our elected officials in DC and all the major institutions of the USG.
