2012 has been a banner year for the Alliance Guys Podcast and we're very grateful to all of our guests who took the time to join the show and all the fans who joined us to talkNWA or just tuned in every week. It is humbling each week. However with the Holidays just around the corner, and Mayan Predictions we have decided to go out on a high note. December 9th will be the last episode of talkNWA... for 2012, unless the Mayans were right, then ever.

The talkNWA podcast welcomes one the young up and comers in business as we are joined this Saturday by The Texas Prodigy, Carson.
Carson, a former NWA Lonestar heavyweight champion and 2 x NWA Texas Tag Team Champion, has been making a name for himself by traveling across the state of Texas and taking on some of the best the state has to offer. Fresh off a feud with Jasper Davis in NWA Houston, he also joined the Lance Romance’s International Playaz Club in Dallas so be there as we find out what plans the Texas Prodigy has, who he respects, and what titles he has his eyes on in the NWA.

talkNWA: Matt Conard (#44)
Matt Conards journey to the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship leads him to a showdown against reigning champion Kevin Douglas this Friday Night. And it is only fitting that it will be Friday the 13th when "Modern Day Hero" will have to defend his title against a man who is called the "Reaper." The culmination of hard work, dedication, and a bit of stalking has brought the Conard to this match, but his efforts started much earlier. Challenges to the previous champion would go unanswered. When the title was forfeited, Conard was one of the first to ask for his opportunity to join the tournament. Snubbed by the NWA Championship Committee, Conard made sure to make his presence known at the Revival Tournament on October 7th 2011. It was at the tournament in Charlotte, North Carolina that Conard and Douglas had their first interaction. Friday Night, Conard has his first opportunity to become a world champion.
And talkNWA will have the exclusive interview with Conard on Saturday, win or lose. We’ll talk to the “Reaper” about his time in NWA Mountain State, the pursuit of the NWA World Junior Championship, his thoughts on his contemporaries, and his thoughts on the bout from the previous night.

I remember as a younger man, running to the local convience store plunking down my allowance money and purchasing the newest edition of PWI. Pro Wrestling Illustrated is recognized as the sport’s number one magazine since its inception in 1979. Our guest this week Frank Krewda is the Editor-In-Chief of the PWI and has been since 2008. From 1997-2000 Frank was an assitant editor and while on hiatus still contributed to the magazien as a freelance. Publishing for 33 years PWI still is one of the most influential wrestling publications.
