Following a great week in Dallas at the first Private Exchange FORUM, hosts Doug Field and Brent Macy are back in the studio for a discussion on all things private exchanges, especially what employers need to know about this emerging solution. The hosts welcome Patty Fontneau, the president of Private Exchange Business at Cigna, to the program to join the discussion. As a prominent speaker at the recently completed Private Exchange FORUM, Patty joins the hosts in a re-cap of some of the conference's major points of discussion. Patty and the hosts focus on what employers need to know about private exchanges and also discuss the continuum of private exchange models, some pros and cons for each and where the industry is going from here.
You've heard them on Haunted Nights LIVE! Tamara Thorne and Alistair Cross bring you the best in horror, hauntings and spooks! The tables are turned tonight when they become the interviewees on Authors on the Air. These two crazy kids have written another winning heart-stopper of a book and they have agreed to go under the lights in Pam Stack's studio. Here's a little bit about The Cliffhouse Haunting: Cliffhouse has not always been a place of rest and respite, though. Over the years it has served many vices, from rum-running to prostitution and although the cat houses have been replaced by a miniature golf course and carousel, Cliffhouse retains its dark history; darkest during the Roaring Twenties, when a serial killer called the Bodice Ripper terrorized the town, and a phantom, the Blue Lady, was said to walk when murder was imminent.
Death walks With her…
Now, there’s a new killer on the loose and the Blue Lady sightings have returned. The Bellamys are losing maids and guests are being tormented by disembodied whispers, wet phantom footprints and the blood-chilling shrieks of mad laughter that echo through the halls of Cliffhouse in the dead of night.

LDSS Announces Night of Champions to Honor Differently-abled Working Adults and Their Employers
(SAVANNAH, GA) The Lowcountry Down Syndrome Society (LDSS) announces the sixth annual Night of Champions will be hosted Thursday, May 14 at 6 p.m. at the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa – Hotel Grand Ballroom. This community celebration distinguishes local organizations that hire and retain differently-abled people, including those with Down syndrome, and recognizes the contributions made by these employees.
According to the National Down Syndrome Congress, 80 percent of the 15,000 people of working age (18-60) with Down syndrome are unemployed. Low expectations and a lack of understanding about the skills and work ethic many people with Down syndrome possess have contributed to this statistic. LDSS hopes to reverse this trend by encouraging Savannah area employers to give differently-abled workers a chance.
“Dignity and self-respect are borne out of feeling that what we have to offer makes a difference,” said LDSS Night of Champions Chairperson, Allyson Harvin.
This year’s Night of Champions will be emceed again by celebrity chef and author, Jamie Deen. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased online at nightofchampions.org
For more information, please contact Allyson Harvin at email@example.com.
The Lowcountry Down Syndrome Society (LDSS) is a family support group to benefit people with Down syndrome and their families through local leadership, outreach, education, and advocacy to champion and celebrate acceptance and inclusion. Meetings are held every 4th Tuesday of the month. LDSS is an affiliate of the National Down Syndrome Society. For more information about LDSS, visit http://www.ldssga.org/
Under the Goddesses and Gods; the Mesopotamian's passion for law and justice, however, did not have its, origins solely in loftly ideals. It stemmed also from a competitive and individualistic temperament, and a high regard forprivate property. As early as 2500B.C., soon after writing had been invented, some Mesopotamians had began to inscribe their transactions--actual contracts and deeds of sale for hoses, fields and even slaves--on tables of clay. These documents spelled out, in permanent form that could easily be referred to at any time, agreements for dealings between oeople. Since they established precedents for future actions, they led inevitab to one of the Mesopotamians' greatest contributions to civilization, a logical system of written law.
When the A.D. anno domini hijack the ancient African indigenous civility with monotheistic [he and him-God it created an aberrational shift in perception and behavior of people--and down goes the way of man, ebbing into psychological ignorance.

The TalentCulture #TChat Show is back live on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at its new time from 1-2 pm ET (10-11 am PT).
Last week we talked about how to look people in the eye digitally, and this week we’re going to talk about how to turn horrible bosses into happier relationships.
Today we’re faced with a difficult and complex economic landscape never before seen in the modern world. Regardless of the job growth of late and unemployment plummeting, wages are still pretty flat and employers and workers are under a great deal of strain to produce.
Unfortunately, a bad boss can undermine our ability to work effectively and efficiently. Poor communication skills, lack of direction, micromanaging, bullying — any of these traits can make a boss difficult to work with leading to stress, anxiety, frustration and anger.
It’s time to learn powerful techniques for reinventing your relationship with your boss and turn horrible into happier.
Join TalentCulture #TChat Show co-founders and co-hosts Meghan M. Biro and Kevin W. Grossman as we talk about how to turn horrible bosses into happier relationships with this week’s guest: Tony Deblauwe, Founder of consulting firm HR4Change.
Thank you to all our TalentCulture sponsors and partners: Dice, Jibe, TalentWise, Hootsuite, IBM, CareerBuilder, PeopleFluent, Jobvite, Predictive Analytics World for Workforce and HRmarketer Insight. Plus, we're big CandE supporters!
Some employers discipline their employees by docking their pay or putting them on unpaid suspension for violating workplace rules. However, such a policy can create big problems if the employee whose pay is reduced is exempt from such suspensions because he or she is paid on a salary basis and generally exercises a certain degree of responsibility and discretion in doing the job. In this show, Bill and Rick discuss when salary deductions are applicable and how unpaid suspension exceptions apply.
Today, Thurs, 4-9-15, at 7 PM Pacific and 10 PM Eastern, we are tackling the problem of persistent drought and the lowering of groundwater levels that are a problem in the Western United States and elsewhere, including many parts of Africa.
