Far too many of today's leaders aren't really leading. Instead, they are unable to share their goals and purpose in a clear and concise manner that allows people to get behind their ambitions. If people do understand their goals, they seem to lack the knowledge and ability to formulate a solid strategic plan that makes sense, and suddenly they find themselves on the sidelines in their business doing the only thing they seem to have left: They yell "Go Team!"... as though that should inspire their people to try harder.
Finding success in business isn't an accident. It's also not luck. Every successful person set out on their journey with a very specific goal in mind, and a plan in hand that made sense. Did they know everything they needed to know before they started? Did they anticipate every curve in the road getting to where they wanted to go? No. However, with a well thought out strategy, and a little luck, they made something of themselves.
Join Kevin Hunter and David Ford as they discuss the difference between real substance in a Leader, and actions that don't amount to being much more than being a Cheerleader in business.

Susan syas, "Having to pick from such a wide array of personal growth topics is hard, especially when we recognize how many areas and in how many ways we can grow ourselves, our businesses, our relationships, our lives. Recently I shared some inspiration that I took from writer John Maxwell (bestselling author and motivational speaker) and one of his 15 "invaluable laws of growth - the "Law of Contribution". He talks about how growing ourselves enables us to grow others - a key element in developing a successful business but perhaps more importantly, in developing a fulfilling and rewarding life.
I am looking forward to sharing his wisdom with others and to developing the law of contribution within all aspects of my own life!"

By his own admission, Leon Ford ran a stop sign. A police officer stopped him, and he provided his license, registration and insurance. He doesn’t argue that he should have been given a ticket, but he does dispute the fact that he should have been shot five times, paralyzed and confined to a wheelchair for the rest of his life. Call or tune in for this human interest story.
Kevin Hunter and David Ford and joined in studio by Melissa Rupar to talk about weightloss, and it's similarities to goals and objectives in business.
A key element to any successful venture, whether it be weightloss or business, is that it cannot be optional. If you haven't recognized that the goal you have is something that is not negotiable, the results you get from your efforts will always be scattered... and the goal is often not reached.
Hear Melissa Rupar's journey to losing weight, and discover how your journey in business has similar elements.
