If you have missed Cheryl Bradbury's smiling face recently at ACAC, it's because she has been on assignment with her husband at the Alliance missions work in Gabon, Central Africa. Cheryl has been back at her ACAC administrative position for three weeks, and today joins John to talk about her experience in Gabon, her role on the Divine Design Team and also her thoughts on the upcoming holiday season. Her husband Jeff got off work and will also join John and Cheryl for the discussion.
Many got to know Missy Payne from the hit show SURVIVOR, but she has been using her skills as a life coach to help others realize their own potential long before the reality show. She talks with #ConversationsLIVE host Cyrus Webb about her journey and what it's been like to inspire others along the way.
Please join Health Educator & Life Coach, Erica Haray-Butcher, as she chats with Author, Breast Cancer Survivor, fellow Life Coach, and former attorney, Jenn McRobbie.
Jenn and Erica will be talking about Jenn's journey through breast cancer, as well as her brand new book- Why is She Acting So Weird? A Guide to Cultivating Closeness When a Friend is in Crisis.
Jenn was a very happily married mother of two beautiful young girls when she was diagnosed with stage 3A breast cancer that had already spread to her lymph nodes. There was no history of breast cancer in her family, making this even more suprising. She underwent multiple surgeries, chemo, and radiation, and through her health jouirney, she decided it was finally time to live, love, and be free.
In her book, Jenn shares her experience of how friendships change when a friend goes through a crisis, and offers tips to people who want to be supportive of a loved one, but aren't sure what to do or what to say.

And don't forget- good health is contagious...pass it on!
Dr. Mike Robinson, host of Parent Talk Live talks with Tamara Wallace Norman, a cancer survivor about how her faith and resiliency supported her desire to be involved in the academic life of her son.
Tamara Wallace Norman, native of Dayton, Ohio, is a wife, mother, and avid roller skater. Tamara is also a breast cancer survivor. She was diagnosed in December 2011. At that time her son, Zion, was 6 years old and in first grade. He was also in his 2nd year of attending an immersion language academy where we was studying Mandarin. During Tamara’s cancer journey, she took a break from her 20-year career as a flight attendant in order to focus on treatment and supporting her son’s education. Her approach to dealing with life has always been to incorporate with her faith two attributes: resiliency and steadfastness. She has seen the effects of this positive approach to life play out in her ability to remain cancer-free for three years and in her role as a mother, helping her son to excel in his studies. Whether flying, gliding across the hardwood or writing about her passion for roller skating (you can find her at www.lacesandwheels.com), Tamara’s zest for life is most apparent. She currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina, with her husband, Jaron, and her son, Zion.

Joshua Puckett was just minding his business in his own front yard when he was attacked by a "random drunk person" causing his brain injury. Now he says he has a "memory of a fish." Memory problems combined with balance issues, anger, and confusion have become the "new norm" in his new life. But, Joshua is overcoming his deficits by directing his attentions to his art and his music. Both are opening new doors in this talented young man's life.
Every TBI survivor and caregiver has encountered a fork in the road that has diverted his or her life-plan. A car accident, a fall from the roof, doing one more chin-up, an IED blast, or a door literally slamming one in the face are just some causes of traumatic brain injury. College, walking down the aisle in the perfect dress, or the coveted job quickly slips from reality as dreams turn to struggle. These unexpected life-happenings that divert one from his or her chosen path in life can be devastating.
But as Yogi Berra once said, “If you come to a fork in the road, take it.” Life is all about choices!
