In this episode of Write Pack Radio, the Write Pack explores how twists and surprises in fiction.
All twists and surprises need to be surprising, but inevitable.
What makes a good twist?
How does the twist apply to the surprise?
Can you see the twist coming when you reread or re-watch the story?
Are we trained in watching the twist? What do you remember about the twist?
What is the difference between a twist and a twest (a bad twist)?
We spend a lot of time working on our beginnings, because that is what the agents and publishers see first. How much time do we spend on the endings where the surprise is at?
What kind of endings are there?
Can the twist destroy your plot?
Are there any locations for surprises and twists than the ending?
Can surprises and twists in the middle keep the middle of the book from being boring?
What about twists in premises?
How do you show the twist and the hidden clues without making them obvious?
What are the beats in the twist?

Our Dancing Monday may be postponed for another day. My monthly interview might actually happen, and unfortunately, it won't be Ms. Brimer. He isn't a most famous person or anything, but personally, I couldn't think of anyone close to me who I haven't interviewed yet.
Whether there's music or not, stay hydrated, everyone. Drink plenty of soup, too. It's the winter season! I want you healthy as the next person. Let's have some fun with one of my favorite friends.
The Bears, as most fans and pundits expected, lost their home opener to the Green Bay Packers. But after two embarrassingly lopsided losses in 2014, fans should look at the positives of this game first. At least it looked like two NFL teams battling each other, rather than one NFL team beating up on a pee-wee league team. But should Bears coaches and players take any kind of moral victory away from yesterday's loss?

This is "Justice" and most of you know me as Lyra, Chris's co host, and tonight I am changing the show's tune up a bit since we seem to have all eyes on us for expressing our first amendment right of FREEDOM OF SPEECH. It's fine, we don't mind that at all, it simply shows you are listening and maybe others should realize there's much to be heard. Our host Christopher Bruce is locked up again and to prevent me and our fans from MORE wrongful arrests I'm stepping to the plate with amended terms. We will continue to air facts, exposure, corruption and real world information but we clearly must modify our stance as to protect ourselves from more ill fated treatment and attempts at harming us for using our Constitutional rights. That's right folks, the show must go on and as a law abiding citizen, I don't think I should fear airing a show with guests who've done nothing but expect their constitutional rights to be respected as well. See you at 10:00 cst as long as there are no more technological hiccups and if so it'll be 10:00 cst. wink emoticon Make sure to check out the Eracizm Campaign and help spread the word on eliminating the division of unity. It's not about labels, it's about standing united so we no longer fall. 2nd Generation Outlawz have many surprises in store for a united future! There's no HATE in that, just love of humanity and expression through music. Please feel free to call in as a guest speaker at 347-324-5146 if you want to chime in press 1. See you tonight at 10;00cst
