Amanda Harris is the founder of Lily Beauty Supply, and a supply chain professional with a talent for developing creative solutions to complex problems, and building solid business relationships throughout the supply chain.

Earlier this year ThomasNet and the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) announced the winners of their first "30 Under 30 Rising Supply Chain Stars" Recognition Program, a jointly sponsored initiative to advance the future of the supply chain profession. At age 30 or younger, these outstanding professionals have made significant contributions to their organizations, professional associations and the industry at large.
Today we welcome two of these young rising stars Leah Halvorson and Wesley Whitney, along with ThomasNet's Kristin Carty to the show as we focus on “why they chose to become procurement professionals, where do they see themselves headed in terms of the future, and what has being part of the 30 Under 30 program meant to them from both a personal and career standpoint.”
By the way, and courtesy of Inbound Logistics, you can learn more about these two exceptional young professionals, as well as check out the other Top 30 Under 30 selections by clicking on their names within this program guide.
B.O.B.S.A. is an organization worth noting. Given the fact that the care and styling of black women hair generate millions of dollars for those in the Hair Care business…Beauty Shops should know them. B.O.B.S.A stands for Black Own Beauty Supply Association. Their website at http://bobsa.org/ boasts that BOBSA is the premier national organization that provides African American's the platform to demonstrate competitive leadership in the $9 billion dollar Black Hair Care & Cosmetic Industry nationwide and internationally.
We have the organization's Founder, Sam Ennon with us for this show. We will discuss the Korean’s attempt to monopolize the market and how that came about. He will provide you the public and those in the business viable and lucrative alternatives that will make their clientele happy and content with your service.
We also have Entrepreneur and Managing Cosmetologist, Nicole Lee, former President of BOBSA’s Ohio Regional Chapter. Still residing in Cincinnati, the author of “Healing Cosmetologist” is an open directory to the requirements needed to excel in the world of cosmetology. What my God should supply all your needs according to his riches and glory. Phillipians 4 19. We have to supply all our needs, but if it doesn't work without us believing, how is it that we should express our faith in the area of finance? It takes faith to give away a portion of what we have and trust that we have enough. If there were no God, and if his promise of multiplying I would give back to us was not true, it would be stupid to give. But there is a God who is true, to his promise. When we give we express that faith. People who are not giving because they do not have enough are people who don't believe. But phillipians has proof that faith through that giving. Some people have used the word Need to say they are only the bare neccessities. And the word supply came from the greek word PLEROO which means to Replenish.

Legal Blacksmith: How to Avoid and Defend Supply Chain Disputes with Sarah Rathke is our guest on The Core Business Show with Tim Jacquet. The book will be the only book on the market that focuses on strengthening supply chain issues from both a legal and a practical perspective. She also says, " My co-author and I wrote this book because in my job, I deal with a lot of disputes that could easily have been avoided, and there was no book out that addressed these issues. What I generally do is litigation in the supply chain context. While I don’t want to put myself out of business, I sympathize deeply with companies that are forced to incur major legal or business expenses to address supplier and customer relationship issues that have become “big problems” where intervention at an earlier stage would have saved a lot of the heartache."
Sarah Rathke is a trial lawyer specializing in manufacturing litigation, particularly complex supply chain disputes. She has argued and tried cases on behalf of manufacturers in forums throughout the US. Her clients include foreign, domestic, and multi-national manufacturing entities. Her skills include a deep understanding of the process of bringing highly engineered products to market and conveying that understanding to judges and juries. Sarah has litigated supply chain disputes involving automotive, aerospace, medical, construction and office products. She has also litigated trade secret disputes involving manufactured products and cases involving the purchase and sale of manufacturing entities.#applecapital #applecapitalgroup #thecorebusinessshow #timjacquet #sarahrathke
