There is more to Product Management than just building and launching new functionality to the market. At some point the product will need to contrbute to the business too. In this weeks Brainrant Natalie Yan-Chatonsky speaks with Roy McBurney to discuss the Business Management of Products.
Can you explain what is meant by the business management of products? What might some of the activities be when we undertake the business management of product? Why is business management of the product important? Is it the job of the Product Manager to do this? If we’re not doing it now, how can we start? To keep up with brainmates follow us on:

in The Bible
Isa 58:1 "Cry loudly, do not hold back; Raise your voice like a trumpet, And declare to My people their transgression, And to the house of Jacob their sins. Isa 58:6 "Is this not the fast which I choose, To loosen the bonds of wickedness, To undo the bands of the yoke, And to let the oppressed go free, And break every yoke? Isa 58:7 "Is it not to divide your bread with the hungry, And bring the homeless poor into the house; When you see the naked, to cover him; And not to hide yourself from your own flesh? Isa 58:14 Then you will take delight in the LORD, And I will make you ride on the heights of the earth; And I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father, For the mouth of the LORD has spoken." Isa 59:2 But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, And your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He does not hear. Isa 59:3 For your hands are defiled with blood, And your fingers with iniquity; Your lips have spoken falsehood, Your tongue mutters wickedness. Isa 59:19 So they will fear the name of the LORD from the west And His glory from the rising of the sun, For He will come like a rushing stream, Which the wind of the LORD drives. Isa 59:20 "And a Redeemer will come to Zion, And to those who turn from transgression in Jacob," declares the LORD.
Child identity theft is a fast-growing crime with the number of under-age victims estimated to be as high as 700,000 a year, far exceeding adult identity theft. Criminals target children because kids have a clean credit record or no credit file, and the theft can go undetected for years—usually until the child applies for a summer job, a student loan, or a credit card. “Until that time, a thief can be racking up debt with credit cards and loans in the child’s name,” says Robert P. Chappell, Jr., a veteran law enforcement officer and identity theft expert. “Once the crime is discovered and stopped, the child can be held responsible for the debt and unable to obtain legitimate credit for months or even years.” For this reason we are honored to introduce Robert (Bob) Chappell here to you today. -- Find today’s guest @: www.ChildIDTheft.org -&- you can find the hosts @: http://Brummet.ca
