    in Lifestyle

On past episodes of the GreenHouse FX Radio Show, we've talked about dealing with many emotional issues and dealing with changes. But tomorrow night, I am going to continue this "mode" of transparency" and examine "The FX of Grief and Loss" - defining grief; understanding the stages of grief; ways of finding support; and learning how to take care of yourself. I understand this will be a very emotional topic... maybe even one that I won't be able to handle, but I am willing. So, I hope you can join me tomorrow night, perhaps even call in and share your thoughts, feelings, and/or ways that you have dealt with grief and loss, I know it will help someone else... that is the Power Of YOUR FX.

Also it's Back-to-School time, so we continue to look for preparing your child and yourself for the new school year... what are some ways YOU get prepared? What's the latest news in the Presidential Race of 2016? Finally, (as we always do) look at race relations in America. Julian Bond is featured in the ?#‎PowerOfYourFX? segment.

7 Steps to Approach Grief and Hope

    in Motivation

Whether it’s due to the loss of a loved one, job, beloved pet or relationship, grief comes in many forms. When faced with grief, it can be easy to become stuck or confused as we’re unsure where to turn next. And, unfortunately, this lack of direction and inability to deal with the grief can lead to isolation and despair.

“It’s time to begin an epic journey of the heart and embrace the inspiration and empowerment that can come from the grieving process,” says Mandy Eppley, a 22+ year practicing licensed psychotherapist and host of Finding Hope on the eWomen Radio Network.

Eppley, along with Chris Saâde, now a psychological and spiritual coach, has developed The Model of Heart-Centered Grief, a 7-step program available on DVD and through streaming access, focused on guiding those dealing with grief toward the special gifts that can be found in this process. In this episode of Finding Hope Counselor Mandy and Chris give an overview of the 7 steps, encouraging individuals to embrace this process as an opportunity for personal growth and exploration, as well as a way of transformation and finding hope.

Judy Brizendine; Author; Stunned By Grief

    in Spirituality

Judy Brizendine is a business professional whose life radically changed course after the tragic, sudden death of her husband. In her new book, Stunned By Grief, Judy is helping people understand about grief—and changing the way they view one of the toughest experiences each of us will eventually face. Regardless of her title throughout her professional career, research and writing played key roles. And so, when considering a career shift five years ago due to major life changes, writing skyrocketed to the top of her list along with a desire to make a difference. Challenged by the difficulties of her grief experience and its impact on her life, Judy became especially concerned about others struggling to cope with the effects of grief and loss in their lives. The result is a new concept remapping that separates the grieving process into its most basic elements: time, feelings, acceptance, release, renewal, and support. Remapping is a personal, practical approach that looks at grieving from a new perspective, and plainly illustrates the process of moving full-circle from loss to living a full and reconnected life again. You can follow Judy on Facebook and Twitter.
