Just because we are of adult age physically, this does not mean we have grown up mentally, emotionally, or even spiritually. Being a grown up is more than an age. For some of us, our lives continue to revolve around a certain instance, memory or frame of time that we have allowed to hold us childishly stagnant where our actions are on repeat.
Listen to this broadcast as we discuss at what age are we stuck?
Dr Maria is back in the house!
The term memory storage refers to the work of the system that stores information for use later on—your system for long-term learning and recall. Material from working memory is put into storage by this system. There are many sub-systems for storing different kinds of information. After an injury, memory usually makes weaker traces, making the stored information unreliable. Important information should always be saved in a more permanent medium such as taking notes. Holding out hope to get your pre-injury memory storage back leads to disappointment rather than recovery. The key to memory recovery is metamemory—knowledge of your own memory abilities and deficits. Metamemory lets you plan out ways to cope with your memory deficits. - Dr. Larry Schutz

Everyone, including companies, gets stuck in a rut.....a recurring pattern of behavior and/or events. These patterns do not even have to be a big thing to cause malfunctioning in our lives but there are ways to detect and remedy theses things and which we will share in this program. A recent university study showed that 95% of what we do in our lives is pre-determined and for men this can even be a higher percentage. This happens because the programming in our subconscious/unconscious minds will always determine what we experience in our lives, be it financial, health, success or accidents! Your host and guest, Dr. Robert Newton, is a world recognized authority on unprogramming and reprogramming the human mind. He has written four books related to these subjects and healing, including "Pathways to God: Experiencing the Energies of the Living God in Your Everyday Life", "A Map beto Healing and Your Essential Divinity Through Theta Consciousness", "The Hidden Codes of God" and "Beyolnd the MIsts of Time"..
This show will air on Thurs., 12-11-14 at 7 PM PST. Call into 347 838 9070 and present your questions to Dr. Newton
Memory Card Full: When Rufus, Liz Weber’s oddly proportioned but adorable dog dies, her life begins to unravel. She is forced to let go of the one constant in her life and move forward. MEMORY CARD FULL is a memoir of her life as a bartender, model and aspiring writer in Manhattan before and after Rufus. Without him, she is alone and broken-hearted and her life spirals downward while her friends and family struggle to understand what she is going through. Prior to Rufus’s death, Liz Weber’s life was far from dull. Whether serving drinks to a gaggle of quirky regulars at a bar or walking around in her skivvies for extra cash as a lingerie model, she fought hard to remain a self-proclaimed “professional free spirit” and aspiring writer; even it meant enduring a lush for a manager or a cranky, Israeli-folk-music-loving boss. None of it really mattered as long as she had Rufus, who taught her about unconditional love in an untraditional way.
MEMORY CARD FULL is the story of Weber’s journey through grief, which leads to an unexpected encounter with the long unheard voice of the woman inside of her. On water skis at an adult sleepaway camp, Liz realizes that there are important things in life that Rufus’s love had caused her to avoid. Embracing her power and strength, she is finally able to accept that letting go of him is the best way to go on and find love for herself and others. Frank, funny, and deeply moving, MEMORY CARD FULL is a memoir for anyone who has loved and lost and found the space in that loss to become the person they were meant to be.

Chloé Taylor Brown, Lifestyle and Transformation Coach connect with these gentlemen to participate, discuss and share possible solutions to the dilemma.

A Genealogical Quest in the Triracial South
What began as genealogical research into the author's ancestry soon grew into a fascinating tale with lessons for us all. Among his ancestors, Johnson uncovered: unpunished murderers, infidelities that produced stronger families than formal marriages, entire units of North Carolinians who fought and died to preserve the Union in the Civil War. The tale holds enough plot twists for a half-dozen novels.
But most of all, it reveals in a personal way what molecular anthropologists have been trying to explain all along. The fact is that we are all of multiple ancestries. Inhabitants of the New World are a genetic mix of three great populations, Native Americans, European colonists, and African slaves. Nowhere is this more vivid than in Pell Mellers, the story of one man's search for his tangled roots.
"In Paul Johnson's engaging journey into his roots in Bertie County, North Carolina, he discovers an intriguing family of pocosin dwellers who personify the South's multiracial heritage and its political minorities, including Unionists and the original Buffalo Soldiers. Pell Mellers is a solid contribution to the history of the "other South" that complements the well-traveled mainstream, illustrating our rich and textured past." -- Lindley S. Butler, author of Pirates, Privateers, and Rebel Raiders of the Carolina Coast..Read full description of episode here!
