I grew up having my weaknesses pointed out to me: “Fix this, work on that.” Isn’t that the way you were brought up also? Truth be told, I’m sure I’ve done this to my own boys too many times to count—it’s kind of what we do as parents—and as teachers, and as bosses…the cycle keeps repeating. But what if we focused on what we’re good at instead? At what our brains are already wired to do well? Michelle McQuaid, best-selling author and workplace well-being teacher, is here today to share with us exactly how we can take our strengths and propel ourselves even further, and do it with less effort! Join in and learn why focusing on our strengths, rather than on our weaknesses, is better for us at work, at home, and in life. Start to practice these methods today!
It is time for Divine Purpose coaching!

We'll continue our conversation today by diving into how we can actually "step into our strengths".
She'll show us how to understand our gifts and use them to create success naturally!
What do you know from your ancestors about the spirit of the women? Were they strong, healthy, a little out there, or very conservative? How do you resonate with what they went through in life to see how you have become the powerful women you are now? Perhaps you are having lots of issues and don't really know where it is coming from?
Barbara McNally is the author of Unbridled which is a memoir from a housewife going back to Ireland to search out her roots to find strengths or weakensses. She tells us a great story of tracing the adventures of her late grandmother and finding independence in life.

Rich recently published his first book, The Portal To Your Inner World! He and his wife Barb also worked with me as a Strengths Coach. Together we will discuss the impact of our work together and Rich will explain the premis of his book and his belief that; "It's not what you think, It's what you feel.
"In 2005 my wife and I took the StrengthsFinder Assessment on our own. We shared 3 strengths in our top 5. They were Intellection, Connectedness, and Individualization. I can honestly say that although the results were interesting, it didn’t really mean all that much to us. Now, ten years later, having gone through a couple of seminars by Jennifer and engaging in her coaching and consulting services, I can honestly say understanding our strengths has had a significant impact on our relationship.
Jennifer helped us understand just what our strengths actually meant and how they interacted with each other. Although my wife and I shared 3 of our top 5 strengths, we didn’t express them the same way. In fact when my wife was acting out of a common strength, but not in a way I would act, to me it appeared wrong. I would not be doing it that way. Now I have a better appreciation as to when my wife is doing something differently than what I would do, especially when she is approaching it from her strength. Jennifer has a wonderful way of bringing these concepts alive and how to apply them in very practical ways. Jennifer is a rock star."

Ten Point Coalition, Indianapolis, IN
81 people murdered so far in 2015 in Indianapolis - Why?
Ten Point Coalition:
The Vision of the Indianapolis Ten Point Coalition is to be a catalyst for creating a strategic vision, programmatic structure, and financial resources necessary to save lives of at risk youth from crisis such as violence, drugs, teen-age pregnancy, and chronic unemployment.
The target are youth 14-24 years of age in selected "hot spots" or high at risk areas. These areas have been deemed "high risk" due to the number of homicides that occur in the area.
Method is to engage high risk youth, drug dealers, and gang bangers in order to encourage them to leave a life of crime and violence and make healthier life choices. We do this by employing Street Outreach workers who engage these high risk individuals in a variety of venues including faith walks, homicide scenes, and funerals.

One of the more frequent criticisms we get about this show is that we're far too generic; we don't focus on any one particular niche. While that may be viewed as a hinderance, we feel it's one of our strengths. We're not limited to any one specific topic, niche or style of broadcast. We're not limited by a narrow genre or topic and can cover whatever crosses our hairs any given week. We're a smorgasbord of information and entertainment that you won't find on any other network. We are the voice of and for the voiceless.
That said, this week, we're putting our unique spin on the events of the past week. We'll discuss the Roanoke shooting and have a few laghs at the current presidential race. We'll hear a little about matt's recent stand up shows and what's coming up. Of course, the phones will be open for you to join in the converswation.

We do not have to be alone to feel lonely. We can feel lonely in a room full of people. What are the markers of feeling lonely and why would we make a choice to be alone? There are many reasons that we talk about and many things that we have not yet put into words. Our wounds and our strengths come together when we make decisions and the decisions we make can be looked at in a different light when we can see passed the wounds. Sometimes we choose being alone because we get so busy in our heads that we are alone solving our lives that our lifetimes are affected when it could all be different and when do not feel we are isolated in how we feel. Being alone and loneliness are two different things. What is the difference? Tune in and Join the Conversation Tomorrow Morning at 5:30 AM, PST!
