It is the new year and we need to keep our faith alive. How do you do that, by keeping in prayer and the Word of God. God's word is the greatest road map of all. We are facing some serious time, but our faith will see us through. He will do it again!!
1 Corinthians 16:13 Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.
2 Corinthians 5:6-7 So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight.
One day we are going to be called home by Father God, He will call His children and it will be a great homecoming indeed. It want be a left over meal or something from the local market; this will be the finest and tastiest meal we have ever eaten. Yet, the most thrilling of all is that Father God will be sitting at the table with us. This delightful meal being prepared will exceed any feast

" God's word says, "How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! But his delight is in the law of the Lord , And in His law he meditates day and night. And he will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers. Psalm 1:1-3
Sing to the LORD a new song; Sing to the LORD, all the earth. Sing to the LORD, bless His name; Proclaim good tidings of His salvation from day to day.

Luke 15:11-32 This has been called the greatest short story in the world.
The Pharisees and the scribes were upset that Jesus was hanging out with sinners,v. 1-2. Jesus spoke the three parables that comprise this chapter to confront the hardness of their religious hearts against lost sinners.
"When he came to his senses, he said, 'How many of my father's hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death!
I have considered my ways and have turned my steps to your statutes.
