I've never been 100% sure what a "Renaissance Man" is, but I'm pretty sure Stephen Tobolowsky is one. He has portrayed hundreds of roles in film, television, and theatre.
Tobolowsky is also an accomplished playwright, storyteller, and author. His most recent book, The Dangerous Animals Club, is currently in bookstores and on online.
In tonight's episode Tobolowsky joins me to discuss various aspects of his storied career. We'll talk about a few of his legendary characters including Ned Reyerson (Groundhog Day), Stu Beggs (Californication), and Hugo Jarry (Deadwood), among others.
If time allows, we'll get into our mutual love of cats, Tobolowsky's podcast, The Tobolowsky Files, and the wonderful film Stephen Tobolowsky's Birthday Party.

And while he continues his relentless expansion of AIM (All Inclusive Method), he makes time to update his AIM participants weekly on his Everything is Energy radio show, and adds to his library of healing-related articles, featuring such intriguing titles as “Deconstructing/Reconstructing Humpty Dumpty”.
Told I had lung cancer and 6 months to live I refused chemotherapy/surgery and used holistic natural, non-invasive interventions. Now, 38 years later I am the longest living lung cancer survivor (I believe) and at age 80 not only beat the odds of lung cancer but also the odds of 3 chronic illnesses and 5 prescribed medications that are the average for a 75 year old. I want to share my story to empower others to prevent/overcome lung cancer and live disease free into their older years using a holistic natural lifestyle. Author's book You Can Beat Lung Cancer: Using Alternative/Integrative Interventions discussing how he treated lung cancer and remained cancer free for 36 years after that.

As the story unfolds we meet Dan Schaeffer, an IT Executive who is staggering under the weight of a project his command-and-control style cannot manage. His weight and high blood pressure put him at risk for a heart attack, and an enemy diligently works behind the scenes to get him fired. The VP of HR suggests that Dan get an executive coach. Skeptical, Dan chooses Michele Wu, whose business savvy and unorthodox, eastern methods guide him through realms he never imagined he would travel. As a result, he becomes a better leader, father and husband; and he deals with his enemy in a surprisingly effective way. www.dragonsatwork.com

"Deep in prayer I began seeing pictures unfold, much like watching a movie on a TV screen. There were times I heard and felt the "movie in my mind." I came to realize these "picture movies" were stories, prayers or poems. Thus began my life as a writer."

Like many Christians today in the academic world, Dr. Steven Collins felt pulled in different directions when it came to apparent conflicts between the Bible and scholarly research and theory—an intellectual crisis that inspired him to lay it all on the line as he set off to locate the lost city of Sodom.
Recounting Dr. Collins’s quest for Sodom in absorbing detail, this adventure-cum-memoir reflects the tensions that define biblical archaeology as it narrates a tale of discovery. Readers follow “Dr. C” as he tracks down biblical, archaeological, and geographical clues to the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, narrowing the list of possible sites as he weighs evidence and battles skeptics. Finally, he arrives at a single location that looms as the only option: a massive ancient ruin called Tall el-Hammam in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
