    Wolfers:

WE ARE BACK !!!  Well rested, well celebrated and totally ready to kick some podcasting ass this year.  To start us off we are going to have a special guest for this show the New Jersey King of Steampunk, Mr. Jeff Mach.  How freakin cool is that, well let me tell you...

We are going to talk about all things Steampunk and cover in depth the awesome convention that is the Steampunk World's Faire.  Now if you think you know conventions, you're probably right but this is NOT your standard gathering of Geeks.  This is Steampunk and that means that it's a no holds barred festival of all things Victoriana, both the light and the macbre!

So, Grab your tophats and walking sticks, slip what Momma gave you into your Corsets and let's spend the next few hours learning all that we need to know in order to join in and celebrate, THE STEAMPUNKS!!

Author Jacqueline Garlick talks STEAMPUNK on Authors on the Air LIVE interview

    in Books

Authors on the Air host presents steampunk and YA romance author Jacqueline E. Garlick.  This is what she has to say:  My writing style has been described as edgy and rule-breaking, and by some--a touch Tim Burton-esque. Because of this, I am often referred to as the Quentin Tarantino of YA among writing friends. Lumière--A Romantic Steampunk Fantasy--my debut novel, is the recipient of an indieBRAG Medallion!!!  (LUMIERE by Jacqueline E. Garlick is a B.R.A.G.Medallion Honoree. This tells a reader that this book is well worth their time and money!) Book II of the ILLUMINATION PARADOX SERIES is available now.  Please check out my young adult contemporary romantic/mystery serial, IF ONLY, where reluctant telepathic sleuth Kyla Cooper must embrace her powers and risks all to solve the mystery of what happened to her boyfriend Denver Munro, becoming his voice of truth, before he has no voice at all... Buy Jackie's books here http://amzn.to/1Fh2DPy.

Steampunk author Jim Musgrave joins Authors on the Air

    in Books

Authors on the Air host Pam Stack welcomes steampunk novelist Jim Musgrave to the studio. Jim is the author of the Steam City Pirates and the critically acclaimed Pat O'Malley series.

Author Jim Musgrave said that after reading "The Steampunk Bible" and "Writing Steampunk" he realized that his hero "Pat O'Malley" was destined for the world of Victorian England that collided with science fiction and genteel myteries.  Good thing for us that he was so successful in finding what appealed to him.  His books have become best-sellers and he continues to write his "Steam City Pirates" for all to enjoy.  To read more about Jim go to his website at http://www.contempinstruct.com/.
