There is an epidemic in the community and it is just not in the gay community but in the African American community. The sad TRUTH is that you have it and you don't even know it. When was the last time you were tested? A more important question is: Are you practicing SAFE sex daily? How well do you know the person you are kissing and loving? Do you know their status? Do you know YOURS? Herpes is a disease that has affected one out of six people in the United States between the ages of 14-49. The CDC has estimated that at least 25% of Americans are infected with Herpes (HSV-2). At least 90% of the population has herpes -1, which are cold sores. It does not matter if you have never been with a man your partner may have and unbeknownst to her or him and you, you both may have now been exposed and or be a carrier. Herpes is an Infection that is more easily transmitted from men to women than from women to men. In the United States, an estimated 81.1% of 14–49 year olds infected with HSV-2 have never received a clinical diagnosis. When it comes to the LGBT community where the actual statistical breakdown of STD? Where is the written information that is geared toward lesbians when it comes to safe sex?
Question to family, why do male identified women not go to the gynecologist or get tested on a regular?
A myth that two woman loving each other will not catch anything - false.
Myth that a stud strap on and cannot catch a STD-Guess what FALSE!
1. Am I A Virgin?
Casual sex can be a great way to gain experience, but when it’s your only experience it can bring on more baggage than sex in a relationship. That doesn’t mean your first time has to be perfect (because it totally wont be), but don’t have a one-night stand just to get over with either.
2. Do I Have Protection?
You don’t have to be a boy scout to always be prepared. Planned Parenthood and other clinics are literally giving condoms away. Plus, stores sell them to you even if you can’t stop giggling.
3. Am I Comfortable Talking About Condoms?
As experience has unfortunately shown, having a condom isn’t enough. You have to be able to say, “Can you put this on or leave?” Asking that doesn’t make things weird – having unprotected sex because you’re afraid of being awkward does.
4. Do I Want A Relationship?
If you know that you want a committed relationship from this guy, then you don’t need to experiment to figure that out. Casual sex is the opposite of what you’re looking for and likely keeping you from pursuing what you really want.
5. Am I Being Honest With Myself?
Having a one-night stand despite wanting a relationship is often a symptom of being dishonest with yourself. There’s no shame in casual sex, but there’s also no shame in admitting that it’s not for you.
6. Is This About My Ex?
A rebound can sometimes be a necessary part of a the healing process post breakup. But guess what? Having sex because you’re sad about someone else isn’t casual, it’s emotional and you don’t want to bring that into a one-night stand.

HIV/AIDS is still a major issue in our community. What are we doing about it? Did you know that infection rates are on the rise?
Let's talk about it family.
It’s another episode of what happens when you get four head-strong, politically minded, out-spoken, ladies together, in the same room. Today, Debbie Barth, Bea Kunz, Linda Alexander, and Sandy Estlow have a lot to say, and, are taking no prisoners, when it comes to the topics of the day.
One of Obama’s post SOTU address interview selections was with Glo Zell. Apparently the Fruit Loops Obama has chosen to surround himself within his administration, is not enough? Nope, this lady comes with a bathtub of milk and boxes of Fruit Loops. Yep, it’s the same lady who stuck a condom up her nose in one of her videos.
Charlie Hebdo … did the magazine go too far? Why are some saying that the satirical magazine cartoonists asked for it? Why did Obama revive the classic “Send InThe Clowns”, when he sent Kerry and James Taylor to Paris, instead of joining the Unity Walk, himself? And why is Obama releasing terrorists from Gitmo, while Great Britain and Belgium are rounding them up, throwing them into prisons, or killing them?
Obama doesn’t mind meeting with milk-soaked, condom in the nose, fruitloop, Glo Zell, but he refuses to meet with our closest ally for decades, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, when Netanyahu visits the White House in March. And why is he calling it a “Protocol” decision.

Hi Bedroom Playmates,
This episode we are discussing sexual conquests! How many sexual partners are too many? Is there such a thing as "too many" sexual partners? Should your sexual history (aside from STD's) play a role in your current relationship? If so, are you honest about how many sexual partners you've had? Or do you fudge the numbers? How many sexual partners can a woman have before she is considered a "ho?" Some people say "if we used protection, I don't count that person" or "if i didn't like the sex that doesn't count." lol. Do you keep count? Does it matter how many sexual partners your girlfriend or boyfriend has had in his/her life? If so, why is this important? Finally...what is the difference between a man having several sexual partners and a woman having several sexual partners? Is there a double standard that exists?
I have a feeling this is going to be another juicy topic! I can't wait lol
