Calvin currently works as a Senior Recruiter in the Department of the Navy Office of Civilian Human Resources (OCHR) Norfolk. He is responsible for training and mentoring HR Specialists on conducting strategic recruitment processes, writing job analysis, clearing priority programs, creating vacancy announcements in USA Staffing, screening applicants for qualifications in accordance with all staffing laws, regulations and local guidance, and issuing referral lists.
Also, he serves as the Program Manager for the Wounded Warrior Program. Calvin retired at the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer from the US Navy in Nov 2007 after 30 years of service.
