In Landslide Program 47 Bonfire catches up with writer Stacey Morris about her new book Clean Comfort - An Adventure in Food. Courage. And Healing or... How I Went from 345 Lbs. to a Size 8 without Dieting, Surgery, or Losing My Sanity. Stacey's book is the story of her journey - from childhood - through the endless maze of diets and self-recrimination to the liberation of "learning the real meaning of feeding myself well". While Bonfire and Stacey will talk about the book (and other venues for her writing) the core of their conversation will be the spiritual understandings: self-discovery and recovery as we find our own way through Life, dismissing the half-truths and untruths which can sculpt our values and beliefs... about ourselves, about food, about nourishment, about Being Alive!

Stacey Thomas, was born and raised in Virginia. She is a wife and mother of two. She attended Virginia Union University for accounting and spent years working in real estate and customer service. Throughout her life she's been writing for an emotional release and sometimes for enjoyment. She became an avid reader during her twenties. For years something went on in Stacey’s mind when she would lay silently, trying to clear her mind for sleep. They were stories that needed to be written. She currently has Sins of the Flesh Erotic Short Stories available on Amazon, and Part II coming out in June. She says the books are about experiences of yielding to temptation. She has many stories that have been started and she’s anticipating an opportunity to complete them. Stacey’s hoping she grows as a writer and wants readers to be excited when introduced to her stories. She has many dreams and says she’s excited about her future. She believes when God gives you something, it should not to be ignored but pursued. She can be found at: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/stacey.thomas.3150
