In this episode of The Red Light Sports Ramble, presented by The Red Light Sports Network, Evan Witalison and Troy Otradovec will discuss the hottest news in baseball. The St. Louis Cardinals are being investigated by the FBI for apparently hacking into the Houston Astros database. The database had information about trades, statistics, and scouting reports. How big of a deal do you think this is? If they hacked into the Astro's database, did they try and hack into any other teams? Listen in and call the show with your thoughts.
It's been a while, but the show is back and better as ever! Football is just days away! Hosts Jess and Seth catch up the listeners on the latest with the Arizona Cardinals -- signings and and history. There is a woman coach! They discuss the impact and also the impact of and expectations for newly signed TE Jermaine Gresham.
After that, it is a preview of training camp, which starts August 31 and fans can see the first practice on August 1.
All eyes are on whom? What are the biggest position battles? What are the overstated stories? And then there will be hot takes -- what will be the surprises of camp?
Is it me, or did it seem like for a short while last season, the Arizona Cardinals were going to be the first team in NFL history to play the Super Bowl in their own stadium? Before Carson Palmer went down, I actually felt they had a real legitimate shot. His injury helped changed the entire NFC playoff picture. I also felt that if the Cardinals didn't get a top seed in the NFC playoffs, they would be 1-&-done...& they were. Despite that, I got a ton of mad respect for head coach Bruce Arians. He's been one of my favorite NFL coaches in recent years. The guy didn't have a whole lot to work w/ these past few seasons. Offensively, the Cards were ranked 24th overall last season. They played 4 quarterbacks, & 3 of them started at least 2 games. Despite having wide receivers Larry Fitzgerald, Malcolm Floyd, John Brown, Ted Ginn Jr., running backs Andre Ellington, there seemed to have been some chemistry issues. Obviously, you can blame the quarterback injuries on that but in the end, it does come down to coaching & despite all that, I felt Bruce Arians did a great job & truly deserved the coach of the year honors. The defense also ranked 24th in the league last year & I felt that was a huge problem. They played so strong at the start of the season. Injuries may have played a part in the team's decline down the stretch. When healthy, this team can compete w/ anyone. Hopefully, for their sakes (& for the sake of Bruce Arians), this team can stay healthy & win the NFC West. Can they? That is thee question. Tune in to another team coverage on "The Rocket Sports Breakdown" Thursday morning @ 10:30am. Rocket Nation, get ready for a power trip.

“The history of our families is entwined just as a piece of cloth is woven. Our parents and fore parents were all bound together by birth families and marriage into others, but we are all bound by bloodlines that make us all related to one another. These families all lived in towns and communities that surround each other. Some of the town names are Warren, Banks, Pleasant Hill, Gravel Ridge, Childs, Green Chapel, Hard Shell, Jersey, Hermitage, Johnsville, Morobay, Palestine, Mt. Olive, Vicks, Hampton, and Harrell. Some of the names of families who lived in those communities are Hampton, Davis, Belin, Hall, Tatum, Johnson, Lovett, Strong, Wilson, Pickett, Webbs, Phifer, Fall, Green, Momon, Trotter, Newton, Wheeler, Jones, Henry, Harmon, Childs, Woods, Boswells, and Gardner.“ Kathleen Hampton-Lee (from her Histories of Families 1800-1992 in the 1992 Milwaukee, WI Family Reunion)

Donald Trump's lawyer apologized Tuesday for comments he made to a "Daily Beast" reporter saying, "You cannot rape your spouse."
The lawyer, Michael Cohen, made threats against a reporter who was writing about a decades-old allegation of rape by Trump's first wife, Ivana Trump. Ivana Trump used the term "rape" to describe a sexual encounter between her and her husband when she was giving a deposition during the couple's 1990 divorce.
Ryan Williams' ongoing knee problems have cost him a prime opportunity in the Dallas Cowboys' unsettled backfield.
The team announced Williams' release on Tuesday after the running back underwent another knee procedure in June.
A Cardinals second-round pick in 2011, Williams is a reminder of just how fragile the careers of promising running backs can be.
He was viewed as a future star before rupturing his patellar tendon in his rookie training camp. Unable to stay out of the trainer's room, Williams has managed just 164 yards on 58 carries (2.8 yards per carry) since then.
Despite that lack of production, the Cowboys had high hopes for Williams after signing him to a two-year contract with a $240,000 signing bonus in January.
