It has been awhile since we have broadcast in anywhere, whether it is here or CBS Sports 920, but I got the urge after being lazy and not wanting to type out my answers to some St. Louis Cardinals mailbag questions submitted to me by some fellow UCB members.
So, here we are. There is zero prep. I have put little thought in to these questions at this point, so who knows what I will say. It should be fun.
If anything, you will get a second to hear some more about the other great Cardinals blogs out there.

The Washington Nationals rallied late in the series finale with the St. Louis Cardinals, but it wasn't enough as the Cards swept the three-game set in Busch Stadium with a 5-2 win this afternoon.
The Washington Nationals dropped to 5-21 in Busch Stadium III with tonight's 4-1 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals. Matt Adams' HR, his second in two games, broke a 1-1 tie in the seventh and lifted the Cards to the win.
The Arizona Cardinals lost their third preseason game to the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday Night Football. They also made their first roster cuts, trimming the roster to the required 75 players. Among the cuts were quarterback Ryan Lindley and kicker Jay Feely, who was beat out for the kicking position by undrafted rookie Chandler Catanzaro.
Jess and Seth talk about the takeaways from the game and comment on the cuts that were made. Were there any surprises? How are the position battles shaping up as the team heads into their final preseason contest?
Call 929-477-4171 after Week 2 between the New York Giants vs Arizona Cardinals. We will be discussing the win or loss of Week 2 of the NFL season. With Game 2 out of the books, is there any joy to be had from Big Blue Nation. Any concerns the fans should have? What did you like from the game? What did you dislike from the game? Where does the team go from here? The good..... the bad.... the ugly?

St. Laurence - St. Lawrence (also rendered St. Laurence) was one of the seven deacons of the Church of Rome and was martyred under the Emperor Valerian on the 10th of August 258, four days after Pope Sixtus II and his companions. Little is known of the life of Saint Lawrence. What is clear is that he was immensely popular with the Christians of Rome. A basilica was built over St. Lawrence’s tomb in the field of Varano near the Via Tiburtina fifty years after his death, by the Emperor Constantine, and the anniversary of his martyrdom was kept in Rome as a solemn feast. In fact, by the sixth century, the Feast of Saint Lawrence was one of the most important feasts throughout much of western Christendom. His name occurs (with Sixtus’s) in the Roman Canon of the Mass (Eucharistic Prayer #1). This excerpt from a sermon delivered by St. Augustine in about 400 AD on the occasion of the Feast of St. Lawrence (Sermo 304, 1-4, PL 38, 1395-1397) is used in the Roman Office of readings on August 10 with the accompanying biblical reading taken from Acts 6:1-6 and 8:1-8, on the selection ministry of Stephen, Philip and the first deacons of the Jerusalem Church.

This week on West Coast Bias we are going to continue our trip around the West Coast teams in this upcoming season. This week we are going to take a look at the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals have gone out and improved this team during the offseason. They didn’t really make a lot of noise during free agency; the only big signing that they had was OT Jared Veldheer who they signed away for the Raiders. The other big move came recently when they resigned CB Patrick Peterson to a contract that made him the highest paid CB in pro football. So as you can see we will have plenty to discuss so join Double K and The Doual as they discuss the Cardinals and their chance to win this season. Tune in Sunday night at 8pm PST right here on the 4ACES Network. www.Blogtalkradio.com/fouracespresents ...
